Apartments Cologne

The location is just a few minutes walk from the main train station. It is in a quiet area off main streets. There are many places to eat just minutes away. The room is larger than expectedl. It has a kitchenette and iron and ironing board. The shower is large and the water pressure is strong. It is just a block or so up from the Rhine River. The kitchenette is convenient and the refrigerator is large and works well.

No place to hang towels in the bathroom. The room gets warm during the day since it is on an upper floor. Upon entering the building, there is a large staircase to climb, with no elevator/lift to assist.

Great wee apartment. Washing machine had broken the day i got there and. Really HAD to do laundry. There was a new one installed that night. Brilliant! Fabulous location - slap bang in city centre and just a few minutes from the train station

Would have been good to have a bedside lamp

I booked an apartment on this leg of the journey (instead of a hotel) as I needed a washing machine and dryer. However, the washing machine and dryer were not in the apartment. They were shared. And other people's laundry was left in them. Also the dryer was not a real dryer (tumble dryer). It was a condensation dryer, which takes hours to dry and wrinkles all of the clothes. Anyway, I couldn't get access to the dryer because of the queue, so I had to hang clothes around the apartment. However, I only had four hangers. Also, there was only one key and my holiday mate did't want to do the same activities as me. When I asked for a second key, saying that I would pay for it, the answer was no.
