New but not without problems

I‘m a returning guest. I really liked the upstairs apartment.

The downstairs apartment I stayed in this time had a shower from which the water was running into the hallway of the bathroom. So I had to use many towels to block the water. Also, the sink is too small to put your toiletries and only has cold water. Also, the bathroom window would open and close only with much difficulty. While the rest of the apartment is done with style, I don’t know why such basics are overlooked. Also the receptionist was highly unprofessional. My room was not ready even though I arrived half an hour after check-in time. No apologies, instead they wanted to make me wait. I said I had an appointment and would be happy to just drop the baggage. Then the guy started arguing with me and after checking with his co-receptionist handed me the keys with a super unfriendly “Gut”. Somebody please explain to him that he works in the hospitality business.

Great location and fun vibe but not a fully functional space to use all amenities.

Great location and the apartment had a fun, funky vibe with a lot of space.

We had some issues with the WiFi not working and the shower; however, the property management team was very responsive to our issues.

Great new stay in Cologne

As beautiful as in the pictures. Comfortable bed and sofa. Very quiet as windows face to courtyard. In short, this is a modern apartment in a charming old building that has been renovated beautifully. I hope there will be more developments like this one in Cologne. I will definitely return.

The reception is at the QVEST hotel which is 6 minutes by foot. That’s just something to be aware of if you are traveling with a lot of luggage as you’ll have to pick up and return the key there. (Since the main door of the apartment building can be opened via an app on your phone, I think the same would make sense for the apartments.)

Das Zusammenspiel aus historisch und neu war interessant.

Lage war sehr gut. Interessante historisches Gebäude. Heizung wurde schnell warm.

Der Fernseher war ganz klein, stand auf dem Boden und funktionierte nicht. Es gab nur ein Stromkabel. An der Rezeption sprach man von einem Antennenkabel.
