The good things:
Beautiful boutique hotel with art themed rooms which feels special & fun
Convenient to tourist areas, but off the main busy areas, so it is quieter, & has a more residential feel with local bakeries and shops
Convenient new high tech checkin from your phone & it works!
Friendly, helpful staff
Convenient local transport to gamescom
Areas to improve to be excellent:
Fridge in rooms, a must
Breakfast on site a must
Air-conditioning a must
Complimentary vip wine unable to leave in room chilled because there is no room fridge. It was left behind reception so we didnt use it and it took the surprise away

Unique theme based rooms, friendly staff, clean, in the middle of the centre in walking distance to central station, but still quit even during the carnival Rosenmontag - great time and we can absolutely recommend it.
