屋根裏の東向きで、大きな窓があり眺めが良い。よく風が入る為換気が良く、洗濯物がよく乾く。ハンガーがたくさんある。
バス停や大型スーパーから近い。
ヒーター、扇風機が用意されていた。
キッチンは狭いが、使うのに充分。
ベッドがやわらかすぎる。
キッチンにあるライトが扉の開け閉めの度にぶつかる、という構造的な問題。
１日目の夜、シャワーのお湯が出なかった。
ドアの開閉は静かにという張り紙があるが、防音テープを貼るなりオーナー側が工夫すれば解決する問題だと思う。
壁が薄く、隣室のくしゃみ等が響く。開閉音含めてその様な生活音についてはお互い様だと許せる一方で、ネット上の中国語風の電子音が聞こえてくるのはどうか？と思う。この宿泊施設だけではないが、生活音とそうではない音(会話などの故意の音)を同じレベルで考えてはいけないと思う。
いざとなれば、耳栓をする寛容さが大切だ。あるいは、オーナーが壁を防音にするか。

I was able to come to the B&B late in the evening, everything worked.
The owner did not know what an invoice was, so it took some miscommunication and patience to figure it out. But it got resolved in the end.

Good location. Not in the centre but near many bus routes. Very convenient for Oxford Brookes University and various other schools and colleges nearby. Clean and basic accommodation at a fair price. Shared kitchen with cooker, kettle and fridge.
The only downside for me was the fact that there is only one bathroom shared with (I believe) three other rooms.
