Budget stay near Oxford Brookes Uni, decent value for money

Decent location next to Oxford Brookes Uni + bus stops to get into town. Property itself is a bit small, but has what you need on a budget — shared bathroom was clean enough, room has a nice bed and table, and there is a fridge, microwave and kettle.

Shower door didn't close properly, but that's a minor thing. I guess the only thing I would say is that the property could be a tight squeeze during the summer months given how small it is, but I was lucky and it wasn't crowded at all when I was there.

An affordable and convenient place to stay

The room is comfortable and the kitchenette in convenient. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

It was in the middle of a heat wave and most UK homes do not have AC. The room was in the attack ad the directly light made it quite stuffy. There was a fan that barely helped. The second floor stairs are quite steep.

Small kitchenette makes for cheap eats. House was super quiet and fan in room to help keep cool.

Wouldn’t sleep two due to slope of ceiling. Room had small desk but would be impossible to use again due to slope.

There is only one IH stove in kitchen, and no sufficient knife to cook.

Varias incidencias, que me causaron perjuicio, y no propusieron en ningún momento una compensación. Un día el agua caliente no funcionó. Y la noche siguiente, de madrugada, empezó a sonar una alarma muy estridente que las dueñas de la casa tardaron bastante en poder apagar. Con el consiguiente desvelo. Además el colchón muy blando, menos mal que pasé solo 4 noches…
