A lovely, cosy cottage where we felt at home immediately.

Safe box was easy to find thanks to instructions from Franny. It was a little awkward to get your hand round to it but wasn't a huge problem. Really comfy beds and sofa. Kitchen was well equipped.

One small negative was the step into the main bedroom which I tripped up and fell. It was totally my own fault but just beware if you stay there! This would NOT stop me going back to Cappella Cottage though.

A quaint little house with an ample garden in the back, located in Branston village. Very well planned and thoughtfully stocked. The host had thought of almost everything that a guest would need. Helpful information about local attractions, eateries and things to do. Pleasant decor, clean rooms, a few games and books, two televisions and a turntable!

Terraced house on the main road and at times it can be noisy during the day. Parking is a little away from the house, but the host provided good directions.

Great location for visiting Lincoln. Lovely cottage very nicely furnished and decorated. Everything provided you could possibly need. It was freezing cold outside but warm and cozy in the cottage.

Just spent a nice few days at Capella cottage. The property was clean and extremely well equipped. Location for Lincoln and local facilities are good.

It is on a very busy road so lots of traffic noise day and night in the main bedroom at the front. Parking directly outside partly mounted on pavement not recommended due to layout of kerbs and risk of damage to underside of car. Safer to offload and park nearby at spacious Village Hall car park (covered by CCTV) or in Daphne Close. Recommended improvements: re-attach handrail to lower stairwell, provide a stairgate for top of stairs for safety of children, replace mouldy shower sealant, attend to mould in small bedroom window recess and on loft hatch in bathroom, add hooks to back of bedroom doors.

Kitchen facilities very good cooked our own food, basic tea coffee etc to get started were privided and a nice touch if biscuits for when we arrived.

Amazing. Frances was just the perfect host.

Spotless property. Frances was lovely. Garden was great for little one to play in. Very quiet. Frances has thought of lots of things that were useful, high chair, games, tea bags, washing up liquid, cooking oil etc. very close to a co op which was handy. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Our little girl absolutely loved it, she loved the flowers in the garden.

We loved everything, the only one little thing I would say is a stair gate at the top of the stairs would have been great as we were on edge a lot as we have a toddler and couldn’t relax when we were upstairs so much.

Exceptional

Lovely cottage, we loved the little quotes on the walls. my son chuckled over the one in the bathroom. It was clean and tidy and a great location for what we needed - Lincoln is a great town. We had a very minor issue but was sorted within the hour. Thank-you Franny! We would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family. If we travel to Lincoln again , I will be checking availability on the cottage.

A beautiful, cosy cottage with everything you need for a stay. Incredibly close to Simpsons Spa which made it the perfect place for us to stay while visiting family and for a spa break.

great, would definitely recommend, right in the centre of Branston.

much bigger than the pictures made it look . beautifully styled. everything you could wish for. at first I thought we were missing a freezer but in fact it was out in the shed, so honestly I can’t think of anything that wasn’t provided. very comfortable beds. lovely big shower. really lovely touch of having a retro record player in the lounge with a few classics to play as you’re getting ready for an evening out. we stayed during the heat wave and a good fan was provided.

the front bedroom was troubled a bit by the road noise but that’s just down to what you are usually used to. and with the fan on it wasn’t an issue for us.

Home from home - very relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend

Very comfortable and well equipped. Location great for visiting daughter at university and city centre. Off road parking at village hall free car park has CCTV - 2 minute walk from cottage.

Our son was staying nearby with friends so we arranged to come down for the weekend to meet up, we only used the cottage

nicely furnished and good decor. kitchen was very well equipped. comfortable bed. full length mirror.

lighting in bedroom was quite dim for applying make up and would be nice to have some full length hanging. The shower room would benefit from a couple of small shelves and a towel ring/ hook by the shower cubicle . coffee table in the living room would be nice.
