A perfect base to explore Lincoln and the surrounding area
Starfield was perfectly placed in the village of Skellingthorpe (two pubs!), just west of Lincoln. The house and bedrooms are comfortable and the extension at the back (with a barn conversion theme) is a lovely room to relax. The back garden is a perfect suntrap to enjoy a cold beer, and a barbecue is available in the shed should you wish to use it. We didn't meet the hosts Dawn & Pete as they were on holiday themselves, but Dawn kept close contact by phone to check we had everything we needed.

A very relaxing stay.
My wife was impressed by the heated floor in the bathroom. The living room is huge and welcoming. Very comfortable beds.

Lovely garden and a well equipped kitchen.
The sofas weren’t very comfortable and the main bedroom curtains were very thin so the bedroom wasn’t dark enough for us but I’m sure that wouldn’t bother most people.
