Very peaceful and relaxing despite the weather, would definitely book again

The one and only thing we missed was a bread knife for our crusty loaf!

Lovely cabin on the water
Peaceful location. Watching the swallows/swifts? each morning and evening skimming over the water to feed and the evening visits off two geese. Varied dining facilities at the marina. 77 bus from here to Lincoln in 15 minutes or about an hours stroll along the canal into the city. Lovely cabin, excellent facilities and communication from the owners. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at the marina
The Lincoln Floating lodges have everything you could need for a couple of nights stay to a longer stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, towels provided, fans and blankets for all weather conditions. The lodges have dedicated parking spaces which are less than a minutes walk to the lodge. A couple of pubs and restaurants close by or a short taxi ride to the town centre or about an hours walk along the canal. Very relaxing location on the marina, perfect to sit and watch the world go by!
The lodges are really compact and the bedroom is small so does get very warm in hot weather. This didn't bother us particularly, but thought it was worth a mention.
