Bridge Hotel Apartments

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The only thing that I like was the fact that I survived the one night stay.

It was absolutely disgusting. I booked a two bedroom apartment, even though I'm a solo traveler, to put my business equipment in the second bedroom. I received a one bedroom " apartment. " Upon arriving, I was met in the car park by a man in a van. Who was concerned at the fact I was staying in this place overnight. He had actually turned up to take out his alcoholic father who was staying here, to move him to another place because of the state of the " hotel. " There was no sign of staff anywhere accept one Asian gentleman walking around in a high vis vest that did not speak any English whatsoever. The receptionist contacted me by phone and email to give me the code to my room. It is a place overrun with drunks and drug addicts in the main building. And the people that were in the next apartment to me arrived home late and noisily. As I said it is a place not worth even considering and the fotos of my room were absolutely nothing like the room that I was presented with. I had to leave all my equipment in my car which I was worried about on the car park all night. The front door to the room I was given, was accessed by a key code. Which was the same key code to enter the primary building that is full of unscrupulous individuals. Had they tried to enter they would have been able to do so at any time. I did not sleep at all and when I tried to lie down on the bed I had to put my valuables under the pillow such was the worry of somebody entering at any time. There were no chairs in the room no table in the room although the kitchen was strangely adequate. The bathroom was small, but bearable. It was not cheap for a one night stay and I will never ever think about returning. I would advise booking.com to really take a look at this so-called hotel. It is in a dreadful area of Scunthorpe close to the train station and not safe for any human being. I will be contacting booking.com directly to ask them to review the state of this...

Close to where I needed to be the next day and good price. Spacious and comfortable.
