An absolutely stunning property in one of the most beautiful towns that I've visited. This timbered building was so dreamy, with a lovely little courtyard, and the most charming room. It was ideally located, and the perfect place to stay.

The facility and its excellent location, the size and design of the room and bathroom, the comfortable bed, quality bed linen and towels, the sitting place in the yard, and the staff, with one exception...
If I were the accommodation operator, I would address a few minor and one major issue. Small improvements could include providing better-quality soap or shower gel/shampoo, adding teaspoons, and supplying a kettle with a longer cord so it doesn’t have to sit on the floor while heating water. The placement of the water supply on the floor at the far end of the room on the upper floor and the absence of a clothes rack were also somewhat inconvenient.
However, the main issue that made our stay unpleasant was the lack of internet access during our four-day stay and the staff’s dismissive attitude toward it, as if it were an extra, not part of the accommodation offer. They even tried to convince us that the problem affected the whole city. Yet, when we asked at the town hall after two days without a solution, they knew nothing about any outage.
This lack of internet cost me significant nerves, time, and money. Please note that the phone signal is generally weak both in the facility and the wider city centre, making mobile data unreliable.
In short, if you need internet during your stay, choosing another accommodation facility is better.

Lovely room in an old timber building, but recently renovated with modern amenities. Comfortable bed. The street was quiet, but very close to the main area of town.
Check-in time was listed on booking.com as until 7pm, but when we arrived at 6:05pm they were closed and we had to wait for the staff member to return to check us in. I think we may have been the only people staying there, because we didn't take the included breakfast and so no one was there at 8am the next morning for us to check out, either. Parking was a bit of a hike.

Nice traditional house with multiple appartments. Well located in the city center !

Cute place in a great location in the city. Big rooms and great breakfast
No cleaning of the room included in the stay even though we stayed a week, needed to ask the staff to change towels or empty our trash. Hard to shower with just a bathtub in the middle of the room and very thin walls, you heard everything your neighbors did

Amazing place, we loved out stay.

Location is really great and hosts are kind and helpful. Rooms well decorated.
In duplex room it is too hot in summer.
For breakfast tasty pancakes and waffles are served, but it is cold. There should be equipment to keep it warm. Eggs were boiled for too long hence yellow part was blueish.

Charming, comfortable rustic hotel, very conveniently located for walking around town. Delicious breakfast with Pain Perdu! Havenet had that before in a chambre d’hôtes.

Honfleur is a spectacular city and our favourite during our travels in France. The B&B is in the PERFECT location for exploring. This was our most favourite part of our time spent at L'Ecole des Demoiselles. When we made some local purchases, we were always close enough to stop in and drop off our bags before continuing on. The hosts were courteous and helpful but, discreet. The breakfast was simple but, was nice to have a quick bite of fresh ingredients before going about our day. The noise level was very minimal and we slept quite soundly at night.
The room layout was odd for us. It was extremely large but, not overly functional. The room was L-shaped so, when standing in the middle, the toilet was on the far west side (by the entrance) and the shower was on the far north side. Also, there weren't any doors to the shower room so, it remained a little cold and unpleasant. There was a large portion of the room which was just empty and a dining table and chairs would have been so much more appreciated than an empty space where we would have been able to bring in some groceries for the evening for a stay-at-home dinner. In order to watch tv, we had to sit in bed as the sofa was not facing the television. Again, the layout to the room we occupied was odd but, it wasn't enough to stop us from visiting the B&B in the future. I hope these suggestions help the hosts to make the room more comfortable for others.

The location was perfect and the receptionist was very nice and helpful. Although there is no parking there is a big free car park 5 minutes walk away.
Toilet was tiny, bath was in the middle of the bedroom, (would've been great had we been 30 again)!

The photos on the website suggested there would be a bath. there was no bath in the room.

the room was spacious, staff very kind. Good location and free parking nearby.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good and complicated to access. The breakfast didn’t start until 8:30 and there was no coffee available before then.
The toilet arrangement was awkward. It was near the front door. but you had to walk past the sofa and bed into the bath area to wash your hands.

great cute little hotel. the staff was really friendly

Great location, friendly staff. Large, clean rooms in a rustic setting.
No elevator to 2nd floor, top room under the roof, making it difficult to lug up heavy suitcases. We stayed on an unusually hot day and the room remained excessively hot despite several open windows/skylights but no fans to help circulate air. Also, pigeons have their nest on the roof and their nonstop cooing very early in the morning was a real annoyance.
I suggest management provides a fan to help with air circulation on hot days/nights. Also, anti pigeon spikes should be installed on flat surfaces of the roof to prevent them from nesting by the skylight windows.
