A very French hotel but with all modern facilities

The location was perfect for seeing the old parts of Honfleur. Saturday market outside the front door. Perfect. Staff exceptionally helpful.

Our room was high up in the building, so many stairs but otherwise all was good.

Be prepared on arrival by car that you cannot be guarantied a space to on load your car outside the hotel. Streets are VERY narrow but that is also the charm about Honfleur

The hotel is well located, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Everything was in good condition and the stay was smooth and enjoyable. A nice place to stay that offers good comfort and convenience.

The hotel itself is pleasant, clean, and well located, with comfortable rooms and a nice overall atmosphere. However, the service does not quite match a 4-star standard. Most of the staff seemed very young and still in training, which resulted in a lack of experience, and attention to detail at times. With more seasoned staff or better supervision, this could be a very good place, but for now the service level falls short of expectations for this category.

Overall a lovely break in a beautiful part of France.

The location was excellent with access to all the attractions within Honfleur. The staff were very attentive and helpful, particularly as we did not speak French very well! The room was spacious.

The layout of the accommodation could have been better with hanging space for clothes in the "lounge area" of the suite. We therefore did not feel like it was a seating area to watch TV etc. Also the toilet was not in the shower room and was a separate closet which was very cramped. There were also stains on the carpet.

Location was perfect. The public facilities and welcome from the staff on arrival was very good. Breakfast was .excellent.

Room was very small and dark, even with the lights on, which wasn’t particularly ideal! Also we were directly overlooked by two other properties so even during daylight there was little or no privacy. Maybe some type of voile curtains would help.

Breakfast was ok, but when items ran out, they weren't topped up quick enough Trying to find the parking, we gave up. I recommend, if offered, the staff park the car. In the end we parked in the main town Parking, which was 26 eur for 24hrs.

An excellent place to stay in Honfleur

Located as conveniently as it could be in Honfleur. Walking distance to everything. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be helpful in all respects. We originally booked one night and stayed two. Beds and pillows as comfortable as they could be

lovely room and hotel but the restaurant needs to ups its game

the hotel's supposedly premier restaurant was rather disappointing and the service in the restaurant was pretty poor, in particular from one waitress who seemed incapable of smiling, delivered the plates of food with all the charm of a McDonalds' counter, told us nothing of the plates of rather expensive food we were about to eat and was generally poor. Unfortunately, the food was also mediocre. Lacking in flavour and generally not at all what we had hoped for.

We had a very comfortable stay in a front room facing the plaza.

The hotel is in a very picturesque position with a beautiful view of the church across the plaza. The personnel were very helpful and even changed our room to a better one that was on a lower floor when we had trouble with the stairs.

A more reasonably priced breakfast would have been preferred.

Very disappointing hotel that is not worth the price

Location was great and the Reception was very sympathetic (but somewhat powerless).

This is not a 4-star hotel! We first received a room with many known(!) problems, and then were moved to another room when the hot water stopped coming. The hotel includes several old buildings that haven't been modernized enough. It has 3 floors but no elevators, only old and narrow staircases. The rooms have no fridge and no air-conditioning and are arranged in weird layouts, furnished sparsely and without much thought for usability. The cleaners don't do a complete job and always leave something not done, such as not emptying the waste-baskets, not replacing used glasses etc. Breakfast has all the right essentials, but not much choice (for example no fresh vegetables). The Hammam was broken, and the massage in the spa was costly and of middling quality. Their computer software seems also inefficient, as when leaving we were presented with a bill that included items they forgot to charge the previous occupant of the room, so putting order in their accounts took us quite some time.

Beautiful hotel staff exceptionally friendly and kind.

It was a stunning location. The room was fabulous with gorgeous windows that opened over courtyard . The staff were just wonderful and Artur went beyond all expectations. He helped us on the phone to find directions and then met us at the car park and carried suitcases all the way to the hotel. He was also lovely to our dog. A really special young man.

Bar could have stayed open beyond 9pm.

I can absolutely recommend staying here.

A beautiful and historic building. It’s a small medieval labyrinth. Absolutely charming. And the breakfast was out of this world, absolutely fabulous. Staff was absolutely friendly and welcoming, even when most couldn’t speak English.

It would be great to have the menu for the spa translated in English. I do speak several languages, French isn’t one of them. English would be the current standard I get through all over the world. That should be a minimum effort, even if I accept that most French, even staff in hotels with international guests, can’t speak it.

An overnight stay that was just perfect in the centre of Honfleur

Location is fabulous and reception on arrival (Steven) was wonderful, so helpful and friendly - he remembered our names and was just there to assist at all times. Also the ability to park safely was great.

A camping place, will be more private and you will spend less money.

Nothing Rooms NO AIR CONDITIONER. So, for that we need to sleep with the room's windows opened, which facing the main street, and anyone can see us at all the time, also the hotel sign illumination facing the rooms and illuminate us all night long. "Quiet relaxing atmosphere and privacy for the amount of money that we paid". hahaha

Everything: Rooms no close enough, different floors, neither have privacy, very unpleasant to sleep at night, at least in summer for the reasons explained above. Staff very rude, with a couple exceptions, no demands or request can be accommodated, and the check out is at 11:00 am, not at noon as every other hotel in the world. Lucky that I gave a 5

Lovely, charming hotel in a fabulous location, with wonderful staff who could not have been kinder.

location, view, breakfast, and staff were wonderful. They were also very accommodating and allowed me to leave my bag after checkout, and later charge my phone in a common area before departing.

I knew there wouldn’t be air conditioning when I booked the room, but it was very warm and the fan didn’t help that much. Also, the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work well (it turned on initially but then stopped after a few seconds).
