The garden is amazing- could sit for days!- the rooms and showers fantastically comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The entire space is lovely and the staff is very attentive and helpful and the parking a real blessing - incredible location. The steam in shower in also lovely . Overall would highly recommend and return.
When we arrived last year they offered wine/ Champagne and cheese - that created a magical start - we didn’t get that this year. The staff felt a bit newer and more stressed. The lawnskeepers came during breakfast which made sitting outside less possible during our checked in time. My daughter’s shower backed-up and smelled badly the whole time. The housekeeper left dirty rag and cleaning products among my personal items during turn down. The rooms are a bit dark and could use one stronger light. All little things that would make a big difference!
