Comfortable, centrally located hotel

Beautiful, clean room, very pet-friendly hotel and city, the staff were all very nice. The location for the hotel was perfect, very centrally located, our room looked out onto the canal. The covered parking wasn't far, and they made great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see in Honfleur.

We had an issue with a leak in the ceiling, however it was immediately addressed. Also, it's a very tiny critique, but the room had chairs for the table, but no comfy chairs, and it would have been great to have a comfy chair by the windows, especially for the great view.

The location was perfect, incredibly comfortable and inviting. We loved sitting by the huge fireplace in the evening after dinner and enjoyed a glass of wine (we stayed during November).

Very nice place and friendly, helpful staff/owners.

Loved the room. Good size and layout. Wooden ceiling beams and rustic design, which we like. Effective split A/C unit for getting temperatures we wanted.

We prefer a buffet breakfast available over several hours. They have guests pick a specific time and items you want; all good quality, but not style we prefer.

We highly recommend and found it very accommodating!

Our room was spacious and well appointed. The owner was very helpful with what to see with a map and where to eat…. The location couldn’t have been better and the option to safely garage the car was another plus. The warm inviting lobby allowed for visiting with other guests by the “honor bar” and fireplace. Very welcoming!

Lovely Positioned hotel full of charm and good service

Full of charm, comfortable , good position , just right!

Unfortunately on the day we arrived the aircon in our room had failed and it was 30 degrees, an fan would have been helpful The pillows were very soft compared to what we are used to fruit platter was apple and kiwi, platter suggests a variety maybe a few more fruits

The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. The room was very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were all incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of information on things to see during our stay. The hotel is situated right by the harbour so only a short walk to all the restaurants and then along to the beautiful park and beach.

A perfect place to stay when you visit Honfleur

The hotel was in a perfect location; you can easily walk anywhere in Honfleur. The car park is in a safe, gated location about five minutes away from the hotel, but there's space to unload your luggage first at the hotel itself. The building is a super quaint medieval structure; it's got all the modern comforts, but it retains touches like exposed beams that give it a lot of appeal. It was beautiful without being at all fussy. Our room had large windows that opened fully to let in fresh air. Our bed was super comfy with high quality linens. The towels were quite nice; not the threadbare postage stamp-sized bits of cloth a lot of hotels offer. The room featured a giant bathtub with endless hot water, a perfect place to relax after a long day out and about. The staff was very welcoming; I especially enjoyed the old golden retriever that welcomed us at the door. They were a great resource for finding nice restaurants in town. We were just there to relax, but we felt that they would be a good resource if we wanted to find fun things to do in the area. The breakfast was perfect.

Great!

Location is excellent, hotel is beautiful and the rooms in the annex building are really nice. The hotel itself feels like a cosy and cool family house which makes me wonder how good it must feel during the winter time. Front desk was always very helpful and kind and made our stay better that we were expecting

Breakfast was huge disappointment. You get a form to fill out the date before with all the items and each local supplier. By the descriptions you feel like ordering everything and there are a few extras which you have to pay more, like a cheese plate which made me imagine all different local cheeses from Normandie and I thought it would be well worth to try. Reality is that you get a small plate with Brie (yes just Brie or something that looks and tastes like Brie) cut in small pieces. And that is it. Similar impressions for the fruit plate. For the other things the portions are very limited: mini butter, one croissant, yogurt is just ok. You can ask for more of almost everything, but at the end I was just annoyed. Anyway...the hotel is great, staff is so so nice and polite...I would 100% stay there and recommend to anyone, but would just go somewhere else for breakfast. Really hope they improve it.

A wonderful, quiet, and comfortable hotel in a perfect location.

Excellent staff (Victor and his morning colleague), hotel was surprisingly quiet, location was perfect, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast wonderful. We didn't know what to think of the hotel due to the way the exterior looked in the pictures, but when we got to Honfleur, we realized that ALL the buildings look like that since they are hundreds of years old. But the interior of the hotel was a mix of historical elements and modern finishes. And Victor was very accommodating in making adjustments to our rooms (family of two adults and two adult-sized teenagers). Highly recommend Room 7, top of the hotel, spacious and quiet. Overall a great hotel and we would absolutely stay there again.

There is nothing that could be improved. We were warmly greeted, shown to our rooms, provided with a map of the town and a few dinner recommendations, and offered the locked and private car park, which we accepted. There was even a friendly dog that also greeted us. Oh - if I could change anything, it would be to have coffee available in a common area of the hotel. A member of our family is an early riser and could not find an open coffee shop in town in the early morning. And coffee machines are too loud to use in a room with one person sleeping.

Service with a smile at a historic hotel in the heart of old Honfleur

The hotel is in a wonderful location right in the heart of old Honfleur; it is set in a beautifully modernised and well-maintained historic building with old beams and charming features. The service, both whilst we were there and communications prior to our visit, was excellent with a friendly welcome, good recommendations for sight-seeing, and we were especially pleased to have the opportunity to book a place in their spacious, indoor secure parking garage, which was only a few blocks from the hotel (it would have been very stressful to try to find a parking space when we were in Honfleur as the town was packed and the town car parks were full). Our ground-floor room was spacious and had an excellent bathroom with a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi bath, with good quality toiletries. A nice touch was that the room was equipped with a Nespresso machine and capsules and tea bags, and also a jug of water.

Whilst it was convenient to be able to have breakfast at the hotel, it was expensive for a simple continental breakfast (16 Euros per person for good quality coffee, croissants/pastries, bread, cereal and juice but no savoury options like eggs/cheese/ham, which I would have expected at this price).

The location can't be beat and the owner/host was just great.

We were greeted by Victor - so friendly and kind. He had called the day before and talked us through how to arrive and unload our car and where we could park our car in the hotel's secure lot. Everything went smoothly. Our room was huge! We had a great bathroom too - both a bathtub and a shower, a separate toilet room and a roomy vanity.

It's hard to come up with anything.... but if the towels were a bit more plush, I would have absolutely nothing to complain about. One other thing that I guess is normal all over Europe is that washcloths are not used or provided in hotels. Not a big thing but I used one at home, so I bring them with me.

Fabulously comfy and beautifully done; right in the heart of bustling Honfleur.

Victor was amazing. So friendly and so helpful. In particular, great at ensuring we found the secure parking efficiently and in giving great dinner recommendations. Lovely ambience and decor. Clearly a hotel where great care is taken to make it lovely and inviting for guests.

The aircon in our room was a bit noisy, but it's a v small point!
