Brief stay in a place we love

Location is brilliant, large car park opposite, apartment was clean and warm , nice set up

When looking we chose the hotel mainly because of location, the self contained room came up as only one available, after booking we got a email saying refurbishment work was being carried out and reception times were altered. Which was fine what they did not tell us that the hotel it self was actually closed !! Although we knew the accommodation was in an annex around the corner we thought we would still have access to the main building for bar , restaurant ect this was not fully explained from the outset. We still enjoyed our time but feel being transparent about the accommodation would have been appreciated.

Great location, lots of stairs to room

Very central, close to Marina

Room was in adjacent building up 3 flights of stairs, no lift. Booked triple room with double bed and sofa bed. It wasn’t a problem for us but we had no instructions on setting up side bed and found bedding in cupboard so we managed.

Location was very nice. Breakfast was good.

Check-in was not so good. Parked rental car in front of hotel on narrow street to unload luggage. Received no help and wife was not informed of restroom off lobby when she asked. At checkout, had to get adjustment for overcharge even after person at desk supposedly had fixed it.

Loved Honfleur, and this was a great location with great views

Great views of the harbor, great location right in town. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel-provided parking is a 15 minute walk away from the hotel, we used the bus stop to park and load/unload our luggage as there was no other closer location. Also note the parking is uphill, don't expect to drag luggage to/from that location. There is public parking across the street much closer, that had space, but we had already committed to using their space; and their space is locked and not public.

The only minor was the parking. We traveled to Honfleur on our motorbike and was told we needed to reserve secure parking. But not an issue we parked directly outside.

Comfortably stay - very good value for money.

The room was a great size for our family. The beds were comfy for all. Good selection of towels. Great view. Helpful staff.

The private parking is very far away and incredibly difficult to get to. That should be made clearer because in fact there is a great and convenient public parking a few mins walk away. Breakfast is much too expensive for what is offered.

Perfect for an overnight stay in Honfleur coming off the Le Havre ferry!

Booked to stay overnight coming off the Portsmouth/Le Havre ferry (en-route to Le Mans) and absolutely ideal for that - barely 30 min off the ferry, easy to find, parking (payable but cheap) close-by and fabulous location right on the harbourside and a few meters from the centre. Friendly, helpful welcome, quality & comfortable room, fabulous view. Would book again without hesitation!

A parking bay outside (or to the rear) to unload bags would be useful (prior to parking close by).

Excellent place to stay, very central but pick a bigger size room if possible!!

The location & views from the hotel were great, breakfast choice and quality was fab & the staff very friendly. We had some excellent recommendations for restaurants from a lovely lady as reception and always a warm welcome.

We didn’t realise how small the shower cubicle was & very difficult to manoeuvre , you could not swing a cat!!!

Location, location,..... and location. Perfect base for a visit to Honfleur. The view was great. Handy to have secure parking, but drive up the hill was "challenging"

Nice hotel. Great location. Would recommend

We had a two night stay in Honfleur on our way back to Calais as we love the town. The hotel was right on the harbour side in an excellent location with great views. The room was tiny, even though we booked a super de-luxe. We had a bonus elevator, which is quite rare in very old buildings in France. We had our dog with us, which made the room even more tight for space, even though he's not a big fog. The bed was quite comfy, but we kept rolling to one side due to the wonky floor. All good fun. The staff were all very pleasant. As we only slept there, we can't really say much more.

A perfect overnight stopover.

Breakfast excellent. Great view from the room. All the staff very friendly and helpful. We used the nearest of the hotels parking offering which was a short walk but very secure. Very well located for numerous bars and restaurants.

A small armchair would be good to have. Complimentary bottles of water please rather than having to buy them from the mini bar or elsewhere.

Exceeded expectations, perfection

Absolutely amazing room. Perfect for us, our two daughters and two dogs. Wow the view from the room was breathtaking and location couldn’t have been more perfect. Staff all super friendly. Breakfast was delightful. Would highly recommend. Only small thing I didn’t find beds that comfortable but it wouldn’t stop me booking again, was amazing.

We booked last minute so unfortunately they didn't have parking left in their garage. But we got parking right across the road so it was okay. Nowhere to stop outside the hotel so it's a bit drop bags and run.

Perfect location

Perfect location everything was easy to walk to. Plenty of places to eat and drink. We were able to park our motorcycle in a secure garage just a little walk from the hotel. The hotel has lots of character and tastefully decorated. Staff very polite and their English is very good. Great breakfast and plenty to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a dislike but worth a mention...on a busy day the drive to the secure car park is an experience. You actually drive up what looks like a pedestrian area complete with tourists and stands outside the shops ! The directions given are good...but you still might not believe them.
