Very charming place in a wonderful old city

Wonderful view over the harbour. Good equipment for a quick coffee or tea.

The old house is very charming but comes with a narrow entrance (difficult for big bags).

Location, location, location!

Fabulous location, couldn't be more central. Lovely view onto the harbour. Good communication, Wifi was down but we were offered an alternative, we chose to remain in this location for the view. Easy to follow instructions to find. They were slightly behind on cleaning the room, wasn't quite finished when we arrived but it was no major stress.

Fridge didn't appear to be working. But not a huge problem

Perfect location, close to everything.

Weak Internet, not the hosts fault, due to narrow streets and high buildings with thick stone walls. Also could've done with a sachet or two more coffee and tea.

Lovely room, but difficult to access!

The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also a very good size and excellent layout. The room was cleaned and maintained very nicely each day.

The stairs leading up to the room are very steep and narrow and it wasn't easy carrying luggage up and down. Although there was a spacious wardrobe, some shelves would be a good addition. Several light bulbs needed replacing which made areas quite dark.

A cute little hotel in the center of town.

This is a cute little hotel walking distance from the center of town. Easy to walk to and from. The hotel looks to be old and it was nicely renovated. This room is very nice as it has a split arrangement. The bath is set off little ways from the bedroom. Opening the bathroom window you can get a good cross breeze to cool the room. Daniela takes care of the hotel and she is very nice and helpful. We shopped at the market and had snacks in the refrigerator.

Being an older building the stairs are steep and with all our luggage it was a challenge. But we enjoy a challenge. This was mid June and it is hot and humid in Honfleur. There was no AC or fan for the room but opening up the windows to the street was a good resolve. (Later on we found that we could have requested a fan.). The street noise is a little loud. Cars do drive this road to get out of the center of town. It seems that at 02:30 in the morning many people walk through and can be loud too.

It would have been good to have a shelf in the bathroom to set your clothes on. Advice on restaurants a bit disappointing. Having to pay for the room in cash.

The hostess was very welcoming. I thanks for her patience and helping us. We had a room on the 4th floor, it was very cozy. We also had a kettle, tea and cookies. I really appreciate such small gifts. You can then feel yourself in a town of far Middle Ages. This house is so narrow and high that the staircase can be at an angle of 60 degrees. You definitely won’t come upstairs with big bags to the 2nd or 4th floor (we left ours on the first floor). And the bathroom is very small..I barely fit in there, but it was a very interesting experience. In the morning, you will be able to hear how seagulls screech, ships are getting closer to the beach, the church rings, rain and you look at it from the highest floor of the old house to the town. It's romantic, isn't it? Also 100 meters (or less) there is parking for the car, we left it here. Parking per day will cost 10 euros.

I would suggest this but maybe different room

We had no breakfast it was just few bag of tea there and some cookies We had no space what so ever to put luggage in there, it was one room with bed, we heard everything on the street because it was just wall on almost pavement and windows I wouldn’t suggest this for more than one not couple

Disappointing and not value for money.

This not a chambre d'hote. No staff, we had to call a number and wait for the host who gave a quick tour and left. There was no communal area and breakfast was tea bags or coffee sachets and a couple of madeleines. The stairs were precarious.

A nice and very personal stay!

Room, location, personal, equipment were excellent. Very beautiful room, very clean, calm. Perfect!

The only problem was the parking. I had to go by foot more than one km. Explain on the webside, that there is no parking! But the whole rest was really perfect.

We spent just one night in Honfleur and the room has been super:cozy characteristic house, clean, perfect position, Daniela welcome us, we were in late but she has been very kind and nice.

Some problems with the drainage of shower and toilet. Not to disturbing but water clogged up. Noise of cars and garbage collection in early morning. No airco.

small room but charming. Great location,, close to town centre. Our host went out of her way to meet us and show us everything. The room was exceptionally clean:)

Room is a bit small. A great place to sleep,, but not much room to just hang out. I believe the other rooms are bigger. We were in the ground floor up front.

Disappointing

Advertised parking facilities was in fact the town car park which was full by the time we checked in. We had to park outside of town (15min walk). The bedding wasn't very clean (stains and stuck food).

Very central location

Clean, comfortable, well located property

The spiral stairs up to the second floor were very steep and narrow. If anyone has knee, hip, joint or mobility issues then this should be made aware and the ground floor room would be necessary. We woke up every morning to the guest on the ground floor smoking out of her window and the smoke was coming into our window. The rooms should be no smoking which includes smoking out of the window. We stayed for three nights and the room was serviced once. This is fine as towels don’t need to be replaced but it would have been nice to get clean tea cups and supplies.

La proximité de l'hyper centre

La vue, les escaliers très étroits, l'obscurité dans la chambre, la sdb et le wc accessibles par un escalier intérieur avec une vraie différence de température avec la chambre, le prix en basse saison. La proposition de changement d'appartement sur un coup de fil, 2 jours avant notre arrivée alors que nous avions réservé la veille. La raison était la fermeture de la chaudière dans le logement de la propriétaire qui partait en vacances. Gros quiproquo car même si elle nous avait dit que le logement était plus grand, nous ne l'avions pas vu auparavant sur le site, nous n'avions pas compris que nous n'aurions pas de vue sur un plan d'eau. Donc, arrivés sur place : déception. Évidemment, la propriétaire nous a dit qu'elle nous l'avait expliqué par tel. Cependant, nous pensons qu'elle aurait du enlever le logement que nous avions choisi initialement sur Booking pour éviter que nous puissions le réserver et pour éviter donc toute tension avec les clients !!! C'est une vraie négligence de sa part.
