We had our own private pool with the villa which was amazing Breakfast was good and varied

However, there was some construction work next door from approx 7.30am onwards Also, no white wine at the venue due to supplier issues However, great place to stay and lovely staff

Love the breakfast but wish there were more options too!

Everything was nice

- clean comfy rooms (we had half of vacation in the Suite and half in the deluxe room, both lovely) in Bali style - friendly workers, they really care about you: when we did check out, the lady at reception asked us about our stay, we shared what we explored nearby and she wrote down the name of the waterfalls she didn't know "I will suggest to our other guests". Isn't it lovely? And it's just one example of many - cleaning, in addition one day we left the room late and cleaning has been done anyway (I expected cleaning only in the morning) - my wife is a light sleeper, and it was quiet at night even for her - clean swimming pool enough to swim

Lovely hotel where the staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. I liked the location as slightly away from the craziness of central Ubud. A short walk to the 'village' where there was a choice of restaurants. A 30 min walk through monkey forest takes you to central Ubud with access to many of the sites. Nice pool, good sized room, quiet AC. Lovely balcony. Beautiful planting and design of the garden. When wanting to explore further afield the hotel was most helpful at organising a taxi.

I found the towels and robes rather 'tired'. Pulled threads and the binding had worn through. While I'm sure they were clean the tattered look wasn't really right for the hotel. I enjoyed the massage options at the Spa but it didn't feel particularly 'luxury'. The music in the spa was awful (short repeat and got stuck in places - not the most relaxing). The music in the main hotel was also on repeat which - as I was staying a while - started to be a little annoying. I did however mention this to the hotel staff and they dealt with it, and with great kindness and humour - much appreciated! I also found the foam pillows rather awful but it seems most hotels use these. I ate in the restaurant a few times and on each occasion found it to be a little disappointing. It'd be better to offer fewer options and to do these well. More authentic freshly made Indonesian food would be better.
