The Meranggi private villa

The Meranggi was an amazing peaceful place to stay, with a very private pool in traditional Balinese style, exactly what we were looking for. The property is very greenery, calming and planty space & it is exactly how it is in the pictures. The staff were friendly and incredible and very helpful with all the information that we needed. The breakfast was good and there was a variety to choose from. Is short distance drive to the centre of Ubud. We stayed for 6 nights and it was worth the money. We will recommend to anyone, and definitely back again in the future 🤗. Very safe place. Thank you againg

Beautiful private “house” for a couple.

Facilities gorgeous. Beautiful house with private swimming pool. Bathroom and Kitchen beautiful but “outdoor” (outside the room). Service: really good

Location is not near center, really dark at night, no market around. Breakfast was ok but small portion for us. (2 eggs, 2 toast, 2 bacon, sliced fruit)

Chilled carefree Bali hut.

Very rustic and private in traditional Balinese style. Kind and attentive owners. Deep, cool private pool. Free brekky. Overall, a great couple stay near Ubud and very affirdable. We loved it.

Lots of dogs barking nearby at night sometimes. But otherwise it was great for us and still very peaceful mostly.

Enjoyed our 2 night stays.

Low density and quiet and good privacy for relaxing. The private is nice.

Everything provided is satisfying, however I don't like the bath tub which I think is not well maintain. Suggest to cover up the tub while no occupancy to protect from death insects and lizards shits because is outdoor tub. The open shower is nice however during raining days, I was showering under the rain and is freezing cold. The breakfast need more improvement, foods are too sweet and salty.

Amazing stay

Amazing stay, everything was great and the villa was fully isolated from the rest. Very exotic and comfortable stay at the same time. We had the floating breakfast and it was a lovely experience. It is close to Ubud with a car, but away from the crowds.

Tranquil Oasis - will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Meranggi. The staff were absolutely incredible and super helpful with absolutely everything we needed. Loved the location (it was perfect for us as we wanted to be away from the town centre) and the kitchenette, bathroom, villa, pool - it was all pure magic. We just loved it. Again, cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful staff.

The only thing to be mindful of is that the menu available is for a nearby restaurant (not on-site). Breakfasts are prompt and delicious, but if you're looking for 'room service meals or cocktails' just budget a little bit of extra time.

Best private villa for stay in Ubud, loved the surrounding and the villa is well maintained.

Breakfast was tasty with limited qty and sufficient for your morning start. Location of villa was little far away from Ubud market but in a peaceful locality. The staff were very helpful and attentive to cater all your requirements at immediate disposal. They also have 2 wheelers on rent at affordable prices. The private villa has everything you can ask for including privacy.

Things need to change is shower flow was very slow and less pressurized, also the shower water falls very near to the wall , the length of the shower rod to be extended so that it falls on the plain rock placed below. ( only an advice for betterment). rest everything was very well managed.

The villa is in a good quiet location. Generous breakfast and everyday room service. The staff is friendly and will help you in any situation you might got. They also provide transfer and scooter rent.

The property itself could use some improvements. The pictures do not show the actual state of the villa. There are countless holes in whole villa (floor, walls, ceiling), which is known by the hosts and through where insects and small animals can get in the room even with the doors and windows closed. I don't mind the wildlife to be in the garden, but not in the room. Closing the door or lights in this situation doesn't help much. Also the spider webs or dry insects hanging around the villa, garden and bathroom could be removed. We also couldn't put our clothes in the wardrobe because of the sand (-ish texture) in every corner. All this summed up made our stay not as pleasent as expected.

Magnificent Meranggi

We had an amazing end to our trip to Bali by staying at The Meranggi. The villas are beautiful, very private and close to lots of shops / restaurants / attractions. Adi and his wife are extremely polite and very helpful they made us feel so welcome and would do anything for us. We would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ubud.

Amazing hosts and the place is amazing right next to the rice fields and close to all the attractions. You wont get better service or ambience at 5 star hotels. The breakfast is amazing. The pool is lush. Really enjoyed the outdoor bath carved out of stone. This place is heavenly and such a good price, so cheap for what you get. Throughly reccomend and that's rare for me

There is nothing about this place not to like, I really cant fault it at all and will certainly come back if we visit ubud again in the future.

The villas are really nice and located in a relaxed spot outside from the traffic noise but close enaugh to the Ubud center. The price-quality relation is incredible! And the best of all are Adi and his wife who really make us feel as home!

Bathroom design is nice. So is the kitchen area and the garden.

On arrival the host did not know about our booking so we had to wait to get the room ready. The place is not even close as good as in the pictures. Honestly Im surprised why it has such a high review score. It is run down, the exterior of the villa and the pool area mainly. Hot water is unreliable. Either boiling or cold. Not to mention we had tons of small flies in our bed the first night. Even with the mosquito net they made their way inside. So were not able to sleep much. Overall a dissapointment.

I like everything: private pool, kitchen, outdoor bathroom with bathtub, romantic bed (even though I stayed here alone lol), and floating breakfast with additional 50K IDR. Great deal!

I don't like ants in this place but I think it's not problem with me. We can't just destroy other living creatures.
