Swimming pool, rice fields, breakfast buffet. Relaxing waterfalls and villa
The sink was in the main room, also two bottles of water per day. Restrictive.

A perfect place for family stay. We stayed in the family suite, myself and twins of 3 and a half years. The suite was spacious, elegant and clean. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and a bowl of fruit. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom was lush. The view from balcony was perfect. The kids loved the swimming pool. There are no words to describe the staff, friendly is an under statement, they felt like a family, each single one of them was going beyond to make sure we had a great stay. There is also a shuttle bus that was very useful to get to the centre. Make sure to book afternoon tea with your stay to try the chef’s every day snack, he ( or she)has a great taste.
On the top of everything, I like the fact that the resort is owned by a Balinese family.

The staff was simply amazing, such genuine and lovely people (Isa, Ari from the reception, the breakfast and the massage staff, the driver etc.)! They really make this place very special, we already miss them! The hotel is beautiful, with very nice sculptures and a special Balinese vibe, a true oasis near busy Ubud. The rice field view from the pool is so pretty and peaceful! (we were there before Christmas and it was very quiet, which we loved). The restaurant was quite good, lovely breakfast and nice options for dinner too. The hotel is in short driving distance from Ubud city centre and ordering a taxi via Grab is very reliable and cheap. Overall a great experience!
This is a more general comment about Ubud rather than the hotel: I didn't like that I couldn't just walk around and that I was so dependent on a car. There are not many pedestrian paths, and when available, they are very narrow and busy. The traffic is a bit mad. As a person who spends most holidays in Europe, I value being able to just wander around and discover a new place like this. I hope they will block cars from the city centre of Ubud in the near future and make it more pedestrian friendly! It's a pity to sacrifice the charm of the city for the traffic.

A beautiful and clean resort with the friendliest staff in the world, they are a credit to the hotel and made the experience so much more lovely!

The room and the view! Was nice and quiet could only hear nature. Overall hotel was very quiet, not many guests and a lot of staff so very easy to get served and help. Like that they offered a free shuttle to town as well. Good kid choice of western an Indonesian breakfast, very yummy. In 5 mins walk there were some cafes and massage places too if you don’t want to venture into the center of Ubud.
Bathroom had air walls to the outside hall way so a little warmer in there but they were full sealed with mesh so no mosquitos which was good. Like most hotels could do with refresh in some areas but overall very clean and tidy appearance.

Lovely room with stunning views of the vibrant green rice terraces. The pool and restaurant are also really nice with gorgeous rice terrace views. I arrived at midnight and the front desk staff were very accommodating. I have stayed at this hotel many times, usually a couple nights every time I visit Ubud. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff are really nice. Only a short approx 7 minute scooter into the main area of Ubud. Easy to catch a car or scooter, hotel also has a shuttle service.

Beautiful resort. The view rice paddies view from the pool and restaurant is really nice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The beds are comfortable.
I love this resort, only downside is that you can hear guests in the rooms next door talking and laughing which at times is late into the night.

Breakfast was tasty and filling - with complimentary bread, croissants and Danish, fruits platter. Coffee was hot and nice. There was also afternoon tea.

Gorgeous gem of a property in the heart of Ubud but you wouldn’t know, as it sits serenely with a beautiful backdrop of rice fields. Traditional style hotel & accommodation which made it even more special.
Construction next door, but hardly heard it. Couldn’t hear it from my bedroom nor balcony & even when I dined it wasn’t very often.

The staff were very good and cooperative and friendly, tye property was very clean and beautiful. The breakfast quality was very goodd and excellent. Service was excellent. The room was very nice and spacious and beautiful
In the washroom you can add a jetspray as various guests come from various parts of world so some many of us dont use tissue so that makes a little uncomfortable to adjust without jetspray and i feel the breakfast should be changed to buffet system instead of taking our orders everyday and moreover with the same menu, there shuld be a different menus at least everyday very limited options for breakfast

We just finished a fantastic one week stay at Greenfields resort. This small hotel is only a few minutes from the main centre of Ubud. If you don't want to walk there, the hotel offers a free shuttle service, or you can get a Grab driver easily at any time. Breakfast was VERY generous, including a la carte options like eggs benedict and smoothie bowls, with platters of fruit and bread and pastries also included, as well as coffee and tea. My kids chose to eat room service meals most nights, and enjoyed the offerings there. We liked trying all the indonesian foods, our favourites being the nasi goreng and nasi campur. The staff were absolutely exceptional, and I'd like to specifically thank Yudi, Desi and Wesja for our stay. Our rooms were very clean and made up each day. There is a nice view of the rice fields as well.
The only things that would have been good is to have the ability to watch local channels with english subtitles on the tv. Some parts of the hotel are a little bit dated, but honestly, the hotel is beautiful and so well kept, and the rooms inside are modern. Oh, and one more thing, block out curtains would have been great, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Afternoon tea and pastries was a bonus. Also received wonderful breakfast boxes when we left for an early morning tour to Mt Batur.
Price of cocktails.

The staff were absolutely amazing …. Nothing was too much trouble. They were all friendly and so accommodating. This stood out the most to me. I left my expensive sunglasses in the safe at the previous hotel and the beautiful lady at reception arranged everything to get them delivered to me. The young man at the pool bar was just divine. So friendly and wonderful to chat to (the pool and pool bar are fantastic … pina coladas are a must!). The restaurant staff could not do enough for you. The food was great … 100% for presentation! (Obviously there were somethings better than others on the menu). We stayed 4 nights and had breakfast everyday, lunch once and dinner twice.
The location was amazing out of the hassle and bustle of Ubud, but close enough to still enjoy (even walk). I couldn’t hear the constant buzz of traffic and scooters!
Thank you to the beautiful front people of Green Field Resort, we hope to visit you again!
The shuttle service was really good and the drivers were amazing. However, the time schedule is a little rigid. We found the most challenging thing was the single pickup point right at the top of Ubud by the Art Market. It is quite a walk in the heat and it is up hill if you are dinning at the yummy restaurants lower down or visiting the Monkey Forest. It would be really great if multiple pickups were offered ;)

Stuff is polite
This stay was unacceptable. I paid Rp 1,272,107 for one night, and what I got is a total disaster:
• A rat was running on the roof and woke me up at night. In the 21st century there are ultrasonic pest repellents – but here nothing was used.
• Curtains around the bed (canopy) are literally taped with brown tape on both sides, with stains – this is shocking and dirty.
• For such a high price, this condition is not acceptable at all.

Beautiful grounds. Surrounded by vibrant green rice paddies. The pool is nice and so is the reception and restaurant area. The employees are really helpful and friendly. The location is approx a 15 minute walk to Yoga Barn and 25 minute into the centre of Ubud. Once you get off the main road, you can walk down a couple side laneways to get to the resort, during the day it is nice and there are lots of local houses and kids playing, including the famous Ketut healer family residence from 'Eat, Pray, Love'. Grab bikes and cars easily pick you up and drop you off at the resort. I have been back to this resort multiple times.
Breakfast is buffet (unless there are not enough guests, then you order from a menu). The buffet is good but the Indonesian food choices change day to day and sometimes can be hit or miss. It is however lovely eating breakfast, looking out onto the price paddies.

Great quiet location, with peaceful rice field views.
Staff were outstanding, kind, friendly and helpful. In fact they went out of their way to assist with facilitating some medication I needed. I was extremely grateful.
Occasionally some local burning off of rice fields came over the atmosphere in the odd evening. This was totally out of control of the hotel or staff.

For this visit I stayed in the Junior Suite with rice paddies view. The room was lovely! The day bed on the balcony, looking out at the rice paddies was so nice and exactly what I needed for some relaxing time.

The staff explained each and every details about the property. The staff support and behaviour was very good.
The shuttle bus to Ubud central was also good.
The breakfast was not good. It doesn’t have options and specifically for vegetarian family like me.

Room was beautiful. Perfect to stay with your partner. Location was very nice, with rice fields view (they have private rice fields). It is located in a residential area, hence cab/bike would be needed for to & fro. They do offer a free shuttle service at fixed times.
Food can improve.

It was our wedding anniversary and the hotel did a really great job of making us feel special
The staff are really friendly and the restaurant food was excellent ,our bedroom was really good, i would recommend this hotel for 100%
The hotel is not really walking distance from ubud town centre but it does not have a courtesy bus which runs daily and there are plenty of taxis in the town to get back if you miss bus

where do I start?
Breakfast : Very good variety of food . The Balinese Noodles was my firm favourite. it was succulent and spicy. The coffee was super.
Pool: Although I did not have a dip in the pool, my husband and friends enjoyed a swim and the pool was very clean. The lay out of the pool was excellent too.
Shuttle: This was your best facility. I availed the shuttle service on 2 days and the shuttle driver was very friendly and accommodating. We watched the Legong dance at the Ubud Palace and came back to the hotel past 9 pm and felt very safe. The driver was punctual too. The staff- Aayu, Aari, and the rest (forget their names...)were all very pleasant and their hospitality exceeded our expectations. we will come again and definitely will recommend this place to our friends.Thank you Green fields Resort!
A railing for the stairs/steps at the lobby would be beneficial to the guests who has mobility issues. Or a wooden bridge from the lobby area to the rooms in the outskirts will be good too. it will enhance the beauty of the surrounding too. just my idea.

The room was big, comfortable and really nice. The scenery of the hotel was also nice. The staff was really helpful. They also have a bus service where they take you to the Ubud centre and later they pick you up. The food was nice overall. The hotel is really close to the Monkey forest.
The sheets had a musty smell and the room often as well.

Gorgeous big room and balcony with view of the beautiful green rice fields. Reception staff very welcoming. Wonderful decor in public areas, very stylish. Free shuttle to Ubud market 5 times a day. Free yoga session. Delicious food at dinner especially the grilled chicken and some lovely cakes e.g. blueberry cheesecake, Basque cheesecake and carrot cake.
Location was a bit out of the main drag so we ate in the restaurant most nights where at times service was extremely slow.

We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was lovely, the bedrooms were huge and the open sitting/kitchen/dining area between them was perfect for relaxing in. The pool looked out over the paddy fields and was a great temperature for a refreshing dip.
Breakfast had a good selection to cater for most tastes (including our picky 18 mo).
But most of all the staff were lovely - great with our little girl and so helpful, even to the point of assisting with some pushchair maintenance when a wheel gave in to the dodgy Ubud pavement.
We’d come back in a flash.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was given a welcome drink on arrival. It's such a beautful quiet location. Stunning views of the rice field, 24/7 reception which is great if you are travelling solo. I'm so glad I choose to spend a week at this hotel because after I left this hotel I stayed at 3 other hotels the experience wasn't the best. I would highly recommend this hotel.
