Perfection… we can’t wait to stay again :)

Th property is absolutely beautiful, and spread over hectares of rice paddies and lush gardens. We loved our villa which was spacious, clean and private. We loved the private pool too. The staff were all so friendly and we had a massage at the spa which was incredible! The à la cart breakfast menu changed daily and had creative vegetarian options.

Could not think of one thing we would change, it was perfect!

Super!!!

We stayed for one week at Ubud Village Resort & Spa in a One-Bedroom Pool Villa overlooking the rice fields, and it was truly magical. ✨ Our villa had an elegant Balinese design — a beautiful sunken jacuzzi, a private garden with an outdoor lounge area, and the most comfortable canopy bed. They also provided a perfect baby crib for our little one, which made everything even easier for our family. The breakfast was delicious and varied every day, housekeeping was impeccable, and the resort grounds were simply stunning: a huge infinity pool, lush gardens, a well-equipped gym, and a spa with massages so good they could make you emotional. 💆‍♀️💛 One of the highlights for us, as a family with two small children (2 years and 8 months), was the kids club. Our babysitter could entertain them there every day with total ease, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our holiday. It made an enormous difference. But what truly makes this resort exceptional is the staff. Every single person we met was incredibly kind — especially with our children — but a special mention goes to Manager Piki. She went far beyond what anyone could expect: after sharing some feedback, she personally came to talk to me, took care of everything with so much grace, and even offered us a complimentary spa massage. At the end of our stay, she surprised us with a thoughtful farewell gift. Her presence and attention made us feel genuinely cared for. 🌺 This place is truly exceptional, and we will miss it so much. Highly, highly recommended! ❤️🙏✨

This is the place you dream of when dreaming about Bali

Ubud Village Resort and Spa is a calm and rejuvenating refuge amid Ubud’s bustling and crowded streets. The breakfast that is included is substantial and delicious, the staff are lovely, and the curved pool is gorgeous and refreshing. The rooms are scattered among actual small rice fields. We have stayed in many nice hotels and resorts, but Ubud Village comes out right at the top.

Beautiful stay for our honeymoon, amazing staff!

The resort was clean, the staff were so attentive and incredibly friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you. The food was lovely - I’d also 100% recommend the Saturday evening event with the traditional Balinese dancing, hands down the best meal we had in Bali! The complimentary afternoon tea was also superb and a lovely treat! We also loved the floating breakfast!

My only very small criticism were the light sockets, there are so many in the room and was difficult to locate which was for which light.

Loved our stay

Beautiful quiet place to relax. Staff were friendly and helpful, main pool was amazing and gardens immaculate. Walking distance to town. Turndown service at night was appreciated. Great food and coffee.

Indoor shower in our villa was average, an adjustable head would help. Kid friendly but a kids menu would be good.

The location of the hotel is prime and is in the heart of the ubud and gives you the authentic balinese experience. Its ideal to travel from for the different sightseeing locations.

There’s little language barrier and its easy to be misunderstood by staff.

Private, tranquil and real 5 star luxury

The resort had a real sense of luxury due to the privacy and incredibly high level of service. I loved that every time I walked into the lobby the staff knew my name, wanted to know how they could help and make our stay more wonderful. I was sad to leave their beautiful hospitality.

Wonderful honeymoon stay!

We loved our stay. The villa was perfect and very private. Breakfasts were top notch and the facilities very clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful too, thank you for an amazing start to our honeymoon!

We did at times make orders (eg. Room service) which took a little while and sometimes had missing items. Not a biggie at all and when we pointed this out, they were very apologetic and brought the items quickly.

The staff is super friendly. The swimming pool is lovely with good service. The villas are equiped well with good privacy A free shuttle to take you to town/market The breakfast is a la carte with everday a new card. Soo delicious. This is the best place to stay in ubud!

Disappointing.

On the outside it’s lovely, nice grounds

Overall we were extremely disappointed given the price we paid. Room’s not overly clean. Service not up to scratch. Room is dusty and toilets in lobby of hotel not clean. No light outside our room at night. Breakfast was terrible. Very understaffed and appeared to be inexperienced. The restaurant for dinner - long wait time so don’t bother going. It’s not worth it.

A calm and nature-filled stay near Ubud with warm hospitality and thoughtful service.

A beautiful and peaceful hotel just a short distance from Ubud—like a hidden oasis away from the crowds. The natural setting is stunning, and the rooms, pool, and lounge areas are all thoughtfully designed. We stayed in side-by-side rooms with our children, and they loved it too. The staff were kind and respectful, and we really appreciated the chef preparing a special vegan menu upon request, even though it wasn’t on the menu.

Dinner service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Also, Ubud can get quite busy with traffic, and walking isn’t always easy due to a lack of sidewalks.

A great place to disconnect from the busy city!

The hotel is beautiful! The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. There are great facilities: outside bath, outside shower and inside shower. Staff were very friendly. There is a complimentary afternoon tea which was nice. The private pool in the garden is great. It was our honeymoon and we got some lovely decorations on the room. They also do floating breakfast.

A shame you cannot have a latte with the afternoon tea. It would be good to have shuttle buses a little later.

Lovely resort and stay.

The beautiful pool and gardens. Also the breakfast a-la carte is a welcome break to the buffets: The portions are small but you could always order more. The staff at the pool, restaurant and spa are super friendly. The kids bed is a proper bed (not some folding bed)

The reception was cold and what stood out most in a negative way was the slow breakfast service. While the staff was very friendly it easily took 10 minutes to get coffee and much longer to get food. The a-la carte breakfast was good but slow. Also the rooms were a bit dated (could use some TLC).

Not a five star resort.

The staff is super nice and hardworking,always smiling and greeting you , specially Eka! The resort is very beautiful and the pool is the best part.The breakfast was ala cart and was very delicious.loved the complimentary afternoon tea!

Perfect honeymoon resort

The resort is stunningly beautiful, well maintained, extremely clean and comfortable and the staff are so friendly and helpful, they cannot do enough to help you! The spa is perfect for couples looking for a very high quality experience. We went for the Village Romance package which included a full body massage, facial, skin scrub, flower bath and traditional Balinese hair cream treatments and we left floating and smelling amazing! The restaurant is beautiful and caters very much to western flavours. The breakfasts consist of three courses which change each day, and a large variety of drinks. The afternoon teas were delightful and free, I recommend trying to get there at least once during your stay! The dinner options are mostly western dishes with some disappointingly bland Indonesian dishes, they weren't bad but we were expecting more spices! The desserts and pastries were so good that I was sure the chef was trained by a French patissier, I am going to be dreaming of the dish called "Citrus" for a very long time

Beautiful resort in busy Ubud

Services like the free shuttle into Ubud centre, the included breakfast and in-room dining made the experience so comfortable and it was a privilege to enjoy. The rooms also had multiple amenities and the staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We simply loved our stay, with wonderful staff and spectacular grounds.

It was a short walk from our room which we enjoyed. The a la carte breakfast was excellent with a wide range of meals, fruit and tasty cappuccinos.

The coffee cups were too small. Also, there was some confusion regarding our orders, possibly due to having too many waiting staff to each table, including trainees.

Amazing staff

Went here for our honeymoon for a week of relaxing. It's a little slice of paradise right near the heart of ubud. Close enough to walk to the main strip but the resort feels so secluded and cut off from the craziness outside. The location is excellent if you still want to venture outside for some local food/trendy food/shopping or see the sights. The staff here is amazing, so friendly. We loved our stay so much we decided we have to come back to the same resort every second year. The omelettes at breakfast are divine!

It was calm, peaceful, close to nature, amazing food, great staff. Lot of water bodies around. Great yoga session. Great location, close to shops and a shuttle to market. Very clean and well maintained.

Amazing property, the stay was private and great value for money. Great rotating wellness breakfast and afternoon tea. Great location and beautiful interior. The main pool is well maintained and beautiful.

The pool had some loose tiles and general wear and tear of the property. Staff were helpful and friendly tho not attentive. The baby play room was dusty, hadn't been opened in a long time and didn't have lights. The rooms could have magnifying mirrors and the king beds were made of 2 beds, would have been more comfortable if it was one bed
