The property was tranquil, in a location where you could escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud and listen to nature around you. The food was phenomenal, and a wide range of options for everybody. The staff were kind and helpful and always available if we needed anything

It was very nice property, clean, professional staff, great food and drinks and two pools. Plus they offered free yoga classes and afternoon tea.

It was a little ways away from the Main Street.

The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. I also loved the kindness and professionalism of the staff; they made me feel truly cared for during my stay.

Fantastic stay!

Beautiful hotel! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious. I would definitely love to return. There is also free yoga sessions available at the hotel and the instructor was great.

They went above and beyond to make our honeymoon truly special. I would defintely recommend this hotel.

We loved how clean the property was and the overall attention to detail. The food was outstanding—breakfast was delicious, the iced teas were refreshing, and dinners were lovely. The hotel’s facilities were excellent as well, especially the spa, which made our stay even more relaxing.

A lovely escape near Ubud.

Beautiful attentive staff and lovely grounds. Staff were very helpful in helping us to solve a few problems, book transport and serve us at breakfast and dinner. The chefs are very good. Our massage was lovely. The daily shuttles to and from Ubud centre made it easy to drop in for lunch, dinner or sight seeing.

There was noisy construction work behind our villa that impacted what was meant to be a peaceful stay. The staff did assist us as best they could to alleviate the impact of the noise.

Wonderful experience

The breakfast and afternoon tea were very fabulous and delicious. Love the outdoor dining area which is surrounded by the greeneries! Also they did nice decorations for my son’s birthday. Thank you! 😊

Excellent Service and Product, nice place to stay in Ubud.

Biggest highlight was the service. The team there are genuinely nice. Literally every, single person. It is very rare to see that. It is evident that the management/owners take good care of them. The facilities were modern and everything was quite functional.

Only suggestion would be to make sure that items in the menu are available, there were many items during our stay which was not available especially the drinks.

Nice boutique hotel. Very peaceful and great staffs. The Front Officer (Mr Masuda if not mistaken; and the lady Niar) was always very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Everything taste good. The fried rice, the locals and juices were all nice.

1) There was a gap between the paving step between the lobby and the swimming pool deck. Not the most convenient for luggage. Though hotel staff was always very helpful to offer us to carry our luggages 2) There was an issue to our room sewage system hence some odor. But hotel staff was helpful to change our rooms despite busy weekend

Lovely escape

Myself and two friends visited the property during our first ever trip to Bali. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. What stood out for us was the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to assist with all our needs. The food was delicious, facilities were great and the overall ambience exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend the property to all our friends and family making their way to Bali. We will also be happy to return this hotel in future.

The outdoor shower of our villa invited a lot of geckos and insects into the villa. We spotted the biggest gecko we had ever seen. Lol but Ubud is a tropical destination after all; this was just a tiny detail that we did not enjoy. The staff went out of their way to assist us with removing the unwanted guests. This did not take away from how much we enjoyed our stay.

Good people and clean rooms but too many mosquitos, non-functional sliding doors, dated villas

Mosquitoes: Excessive; a constant issue throughout the stay. Lizards: Very common, seen everywhere on the property. Sliding Doors: Poorly functioning; we were locked out multiple times. Accommodation: Stayed in an older, two-bedroom private pool villa — quite dated. Food: Very limited in quantity, but the quality was good. Open-Air Bathroom: Beautiful concept, but unfortunately an open invitation for mosquitoes.

Beautiful Architecture, Detailed clean room, furnishings and space aesthetically pleasing.

-The design of this place is absolutely stunning. Every detail is thought of. Someone has amazing taste!!! It’s truly on the top of the list of spots to visit in bali. -The location is about 20/30 minutes out of the centre of Ubud, so you’ll need to get a grab or the free shuttle the hotel provides. ( except you have to arrange an hour before ) -The pool and landscaping is STUNNING, the amenities always clean. It was a visual pleasure to look at. SO many reasons to stay here. Ideal for someone wanting to just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet space.

The smoke that came in the room from the fields surrounding, which is just part of being in Bali so nothing to do with the hotel as such. The breakfast was average. It’s a set menu - with pretty much rice or eggs. So you have to pick one. No options for children or adaptions. Considering the space - it’s the only negative about this place that’s not necessarily a negative, just not my preference. The restaurant is superbly designed and looks lovely but overpriced. Not any restaurants close by, so we ordered food in from a cafe/restaurant in Ubud. Overall - it’s beautiful and I recommend staying here!!!!

A good place to stay if you’re wanting to get away from it all

I thought the location was perfect for what we were looking for. The yoga that was offered was really good, and I liked the fact that the pool did not close.

Breakfast was pretty average. They provided me salad and a dressing in a wooden bowl which looks really nice but the bottom bowl had a crack through it and it leaked all over me. The staff did nothing to correct my now, very oily clothing. Lunch on one day and the food was okay, but nothing sensational. I liked the location of the hotel, but some people might find it too far away from anything. I would suggest this is not a hotel for children. They will be bored.

The property design was good, breakfast and hosts at restaurant were good too, the room was clean.

Location of place is far and you take up to 20 minutes to get to ubud center, but they provide a shuttle. The receptionists were nice and friendly but every time i ask them any questions regarding my stay or the facilitys in the resort. They always stall me and they actually dont know the answer. They should be more trained. Also they weren’t flexible at all regarding changing my booking dates and checking out earlier.

One of the best hotels we stayed in Bali.

People were great and the food offered in the restaurant was fantastic. Beds were comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. It’s not in Ubud centre, but we used their shuttle service so location wasn’t a really problem.

Garcia Hotel is great! Comfortable, nice bedroom, beautiful view, great breakfast, great pool and nice staff! Recommend it!

Is not close to Ubud center. But they have a van with no extra cost that takes you to the city center and back in specific times of the day. We had bad luck with our room. The room was great and comfortable but there was a family of cats living in the ceiling. We told the staff about it many times and it wasn't solved. I actually think there wasn't an easy way to take the cats out. But still it was very frustrating to wake up in the middle of the night with the kittens crying. Maybe ask for a room that is not on that last floor and you won't have any problems.
