The design, the rooms and the staff. I would expect to pay a lot more for the experience.

A gym would have been handy

Stunning architectural boutique hotel designed by the same architect as Potatohead. I loved that there were so many nooks that you could discover throughout the property, especially the hidden vinyl bar. The customer service from the staff was impeccable and the little treats provided throughout the stay were much appreciated. Communication with the staff was done through Whatsapp which was very convenient. The room was spotless, smelled amazing and cleaned everyday. The food and dining offerings were also amazing including the a la carte breakfast, the room service and the beautiful restaurant on the rooftop providing fine dining options. And finally the hotel offers daily activities including morning yoga/pilates, morning bike rides, and a massive pool with 2 for 1 cocktails between 4pm and 6pm. I did the yoga which was a great way to start the morning. We had such a relaxing stay and would absolutely come again.

Rainshower pressure could have been a little stronger and an undercover pathway that leads from the main entrance to the main building would be a good addition but I could see they are working on expanding the hotel so I imagine that will come with time. The location is also at least a short 3km drive/walk from the centre of Ubud and whilst that normally wouldn't be an issue, we were stuck in Bali traffic quite often trying to get back from town.

Incredible architect designed masterpiece on outskirts of Ubud- every detail considered- a true delight to stay here!
