A slice of paradise for us

The staff (Especially Fitri) are friendly and attentive and really make you feel at home by remembering your name. The breakfast options were great, but it would be good to be able to choose select items of the menu of the Noonik restaurant proper. The meal and cocktail menus's at the restaurant were great, if you didn't want to venture out in the surrounding neighbourhood of other amazing options. The spa was great and very reasonably priced for in hotel spa services and very tranquil

A few noisy or inconsiderate neighbours, but not the hotel's fault. It was good for 95% of the time- some people mustn't respect that sometimes other hotel guests like to sleep in on holiday. As mentioned, It would great if the Noonik breakfast menu was incorporated as the hotel guest breakfast menu, or at least some of the items were available.

We loved it here, this was probably our favorite stay in our two weeks in Bali 🩵 the property is beautiful and quiet in busy Ubud, the villa/rooms are really nice & comfortable, amazing service and the staff is so friendly and helpful and were super sweet with our toddler 🥰 Their restaurant has great food, we basically ate lunch and dinner here every day. We will definitely come back if we are in Bali again!

Unfortunately the hotel had a problem with the water heating system that needs addressing, I received a water burn on my back from the bath tub tap , which needed dressing, It was such a great shame ! Out of total respect to the wonderful staff which handled the situation professionally, even though I pick up an injury , I still think they deserve a 10 rating 👍

The room was very humid and during our stay there was water treatment going on which made the water from the bathtub come out with dirt.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent staff!

Staff is 10 out of 10! They make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Restaurant is also really good! Breakfast dishes are quality-wise way above the usual hotel breakfast options. Also tried different meals from the lunch/dinner menu. Not one disappointed! We stayed in the villa which was fully equipped. Comfortable beds, airconditionings and bathrooms. Also a nice spa available with reasonable prices.

It’s located next to a very busy road. Walking options into Ubud are not easy (especially with kids).

The staff in this hotel are beyond amazing. The quality in their service is very professional. They are so attentive and helpful. Also, they are always so welcoming and ready to make you have the best stay of your life.

Boutique Ubud sanctuary

Staff were very attentive & available 24/7. Room service & daily turn down service were great. Traditional Bali style suites all with pool views. Boutique stay-about 14 rooms. Pool was nice to relax in. An in room menu until 10pm is available, altho I preferred to order grab. Recommend suka/bonnie restaurant nearby & mini mart directly across street has drinks. Bar fridge in room. Basic breakfast in room (veggie options , just ask) or served in the new restaurant is available. Lovely decor/new restaurant. Tried the spa which was good & has comparable prices to outdoor. Enjoyed the herbal tea & sweet afterwards. Loved coming back to the room for a hot bath to finish the day. Great pillows too! Note:-the restaurant is newly completed & not under construction

-inevitable noisy guests which staff were receptive with resolving any issues. Suites aren’t sound proof so if people are noisy on their balcony you will hear it (as is expected) - no pedestrian footpath until ~20mtrs up the road for pedestrians. Sidewalks have dramatically worsened in Ubud so bring good footwear! A Grab car is an easy solution

Would recommend the hotel when the construction is complete.

The hotel is located on a busy main street right in the core area of Ubud. The street was very busy with traffic but the police at the intersection were very accommodating to get us safely across the street. There is a little grocery store not far from the hotel for any items you may like. You can walk to the Monkey Forest, Palace and Ubud market from the hotel. The staff are very polite and looking to accommodate you all the time. The a la carte breakfast was very good and served on our patio throughout our stay. It was a nice way to start the day. I had a free yoga classes with Yuli and what a pleasure it was to practice with her.

We were there during the rainy season so had a few rains. They were constructing a new restaurant and kitchen. The noise was constant through the day and near the end of our stay the construction carried well into the evening to try and complete the project.

We enjoyed our stay but would’ve liked to have been able to relax more around the pool

The food in the hotel was fabulous, breakfast was lovely and plenty of it

There wasn’t a good choice of wine by the glass you had to buy a bottle . The hotel was lovely and the staff couldn’t do enough for us BUT there was construction work going on next door to the hotel( bearable) but also in the hotel which was very noisy and sparks flying everywhere from 7am-7pm even on the Sunday. We couldn’t relax by the pool because of this. The staff were very apologetic but we would’ve changed our hotel if we were aware of the work going on . We ended up going out of the hotel every day to escape the noise

Amazing stay and an amazing team!

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff are amazing and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. Breakfast was delicious and served on our verandah each morning. Everything was walking distance from the hotel. The pool is so peaceful and a lovely place to spend your day. Rooftop yoga was a highlight!

Perfect Place to Stay

The staff were amazing, the most friendly and efficient of anywhere I have stayed previously. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was fantastic. We did the cooking class which was the best we have ever done and would highly recommend. I cannot recommend Purana highly enough, will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place to stay

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Always greeted us with a beautiful smile, a hello and a nice chat. Great location, within walking distance to town. Super relaxing hotel experience in Ubud

The hotel exceeded our expectations certainly! The room looks exactly the same as pictures. The staff are super friendly and helpful whenever we need. The breakfast can be served into the room directly every morning. The quality was super nice! We were lucky to spend our Christmas Eve there in the hotel to have their very first Christmas Eve Dinner event, where there were dance performances through the courses. The day-tour arrangement was also super great, beyond our expectations. The cars and the drivers are all from the hotel so you can be sure that they look after you with the service, not looking after your money. Must-try the day tour in the hotel please!

Made to feel looked after and at home, so comfortable

The staff made me feel so welcome and looked after, going above and beyond what I would normally expect for this price point. Smiles every time I saw them, trying to connect with me and make me laugh which is really important as a solo traveller who can sometimes lack connection for days at a time. Had so many problems with mosquito hygiene from other accommodation, not one issue here, air con very powerful, room, doors, windows airtight so no bugs or parasites can get in. Breakfast was great with a broad range to choose from, also made use of the free yoga session in the mornings. Loved my stay here

Only thing really is that there is so much construction going on right outside, there was no pavement to really walk around the streets easily and holes straight through to the sewage pipes - but that’s not the hotels fault a lot of places in bali are like that currently

Peaceful, efficient, beautiful hotel worth every cent

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in this year. Not only were the rooms lovely and the breakfasts INCREDIBLE (try the bubur injin option!), but the staff were stellar, and they went above and beyond. I lost my passport on arrival like a dolt, and they did all the legwork to help me get it back. They looked in their cctv cameras to find the taxi company that dropped me, called the taxi company, then liaised with lost property at the airport (who found it eventually). I was so grateful!!

I would have loved daily yoga on the rooftop. They only offer it twice a week

Peaceful oasis among the madness of Ubud

Property was lovely - an oasis amidst the madness of Ubud. Staff were wonderful; attentive and helpful -and so friendly!

Location was great if you want to be in the centre (or near the centre) of Ubud. We found that a couple of days was enough…..especially as work was being done on the pavements outside the hotel, which made walking anywhere a major challenge!

Felt cared for and was comfortable

Staf fmade stay very pleasant and they were responsive. Ayu and Fitri comes to my mind, but all of them were good. The location is nearby good eating and massage places. Breakfast was served in the room and they try to accomodate special requests.

Amazing hotel , clean and the staff was friendly and helpful! Swimming pool was so beautiful , like you were in a jungle. We did the half day tour and our driver explained everything in detail about the temples and the culture !

Amazing stay in a great location!

Our stay at Purana Suites was amazing! Such a beautiful building in a great location. We were walking distance to the monkey forest, so many great restaurants and a bunch of other touristy spots. It was on a busy road but once you’re inside you can’t notice it at all. The photos look exactly like the property and they staff were beyond amazing! They are such kind, beautiful people and made sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The included breakfast was great and everything we tried on the restaurant menu tasted amazing as well! The photos are also exactly like the property. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Everything you’d ever need in Ubud!

Amazing staff, wonderful facilities and the lush foliage was so lovely to be around! The restaurant seems quiet so you may overlook- but don’t be fooled! The food was so amazing that even after going out to try different restaurants in the area, we still thought Purana’s meals were the best in the area, and consistently so! Similarly, their masseuses were great, and we wish we would’ve set more appointments up! Lastly- we HIGHLY recommend taking some tea or coffee to the top deck to watch the sunrise. It was magical, quiet, and so beautiful we could barely talk!
