Highly Recommended

Lovely stay at Plataran Ubud. Was here for nearly 2 weeks after continuing to extend our stay. Beautiful setting and easily the most peaceful hotel that close to the action. As soon as you leave the street you feel like you’re in the countryside. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again on our next visit to the area.

It was an amazing stay!

We love the vibes of the hotel and the location is so strategic with a lot of nice places around, we can say the hotel is kids friendly since we stayed with our 14 month old baby, they had sheeps outside every morning, some bunnies and fish pond every corner of the hotel which you can feed them too, the view from the kids club is amazing ( ricefields ) they got so much activity, and their food r nice too, we’ve been to enclave bar and my fav there is wild truffle risotto! the view from “the view” restaurant was amazing too! Staffs are super friendly especially dayu from fo and eka nando from enclave, definitely will come back one day!

They need to have a young coconut in their menu

I loved all the greenery, the swimming pools, the tranquil atmosphere, the afternoon tea where the children could make pancakes, our rooms, the very helpful and friendly staff.

A short visit in Heaven !!!

We stayed at the hotel for four days and had a perfect experience in every way. This is a very high-end hotel in a perfect location, offering a true sense of freedom and connection to nature—you can really feel and experience the beauty of Bali from the moment you arrive. The service is outstanding, the cleanliness is excellent, and the rooms are flawless—from the bedding to the towels, everything is of very high quality and thoughtfully maintained. The hotel offers many pools and beautiful quiet corners where you can relax and fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. In terms of location, the hotel is situated in the heart of Ubud, with all attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. We had a wonderful time, an unforgettable vacation, and we truly hope to return again. Highly recommended!

Initially, having a room with a balcony but not being able to sit on it. This was subsequently resolved by the very helpful staff.

Best hotel in Ubud

Absolutely amazing!!! One of the best hotels I’ve been in the whole world. Location 11/10, everything you need is within walking distance. Although is in the middle of Ubud city centre, within hotel was quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast was amazing - must try pancakes with chocolate and banana ! The people working there always gone that extra mile for us 🤍 The pool was amazing, had big floating pillows where you could just chill for hours ! I could say you have a private gym- as it’s very small and you are kind of on your own with great views.

Amazing place to relax and slow the pace of life.

Everything, the beautiful location among the paddy fields, fantastic staff in all the areas. We had three rooms and a villa all very clean and well appointed. The plunge pool was deep and cold. It had a little courtyard which was cool and shady. The area around the hotel was open for wandering with a few sheep and guinea foul to keep you company. There were some rabbits to pet in an enclosure. There are two infinity pools to choose from. Breakfast is buffet but very good looking out over the paddy fields on the 3rd floor.

a beautiful, comfortable jungle paradise with the most exceptional customer service,

I had booked the cheapest room in the joint and was not impressed. When I asked to move, The amazing team at Plataran immediately upgraded me to a fabulous room, no charge no hassle. The staff here goes out of their way to please. The vast majority of the rooms are amazing, and the grounds are lovely. In fact, sunset at Plataran watching the birds and bats come out over the jungle is practically sublime. I will be back

Excellent location, staff, infrastructure, one of the best places to stay in Ubud.

The room has a good size, the hotel area makes you feel like in a country side instead of the central area, and just 5 mins walking from several restaurants, temples, stores, and close to Monkey Forest. The included breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious with options for all tastes. The attention and kindness of the staff makes you feel home.

Lovely and peaceful stay

A stay at the Plataran is always lovely. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the location is central and the staff are lovely. I really enjoy that there is always space at the pool and you can walk around the beautiful grounds and enjoy bird life and a feeling of being in nature.

Afternoon tea is offered, but there wasn’t enough seating for all guests on one of the days we visited so we missed out.

It’s an amazingly beautiful premises, fantastic staff, but poorly maintened and not clean hotel. i am glad I experienced

it’s beautiful premises, very picturesque. The hotel staff is amazing, very friendly and very helpful, really enjoyed interacting with them.

the property isn’t well managed, most of the electrical stuff don’t work, it’s not clean, and safety is not a priority. It’s an old property, but that’s not an issue - the issue is the management doesn’t maintain it well. For example: wires of the lights are connected to each other with scotch tape, lampshades are wobbly, insects on the bed, bird poops on the table. also the breakfast is very basic for such a price we pay, if some dishes in open buffet finishes it takes ages to replenish it. last order for room service is 11pm, which is too early.

Great welcoming staff and overall care throughout our stay. Really made us feel comfortable and special. We celebrated a birthday whilst we were there and the team decorated the room to help us celebrate.

The Plataran really exceeded my expectations. I’d like to return next year.

Breakfast was good, but not spectacular. I felt it was perfect for me. Nice combination of choices for traditional Indonesian and Western tastes. Service was always extremely friendly and accommodating.

I did not care for the restaurant for dinner. There were much better places in town.

Superb

Great location, clean and very helpful staff. Very nice rooms, with plenty amenities. Room cleaning was perfect. In the centre of the busy Ubud, but hidden deep inside and potentially can be fairly quiet (if no construction works).

Room was facing other building, unless you keep curtains closed, expect very little privacy. Came 30 minutes before the breakfast time ended, food was cold. Contruction at the site. Circular saw sounds etc...
