We loved the resort ! The property is in a perfect location for walking around Ubud and close to the monkey forest and it is absolutely beautiful!! It's in the heart of Ubud but you would never know it once you are inside the property. It's very serene and peaceful around the pool area and spa! The restaurant is delicious and the staff are EXCEPTIONAL!!! Our room was large and the beds are very comfortable and decorated beautifully !!

The staff are great and very attentive. They treat us like a royalty. We had a problem in our room and they resolve it right away by upgraded us to one of their suite room. We will definitely coming back here again. Highly recommend.

This was the best location in Ubud that was close to all the shopping amenities, restaurants, and Ubud's beautiful rice terraces. We loved staying here, and enjoying all the beautiful surrounding locations.

A great value for the money. The breakfast was very good and the entire staff is always extremely courteous and respectful. I took advantage of the gym, but wish it had an elliptical machine. Traffic in the area is very intense. Crossing the street requires a leap of faith, but most motorists will yield to pedestrians.

We loved Alaya resort so much that we extended our stay longer than expected! It’s a great location in the heart of Ubud, walking distance of shops and restaurants. The resort is beautiful and the pool is tucked away in the back, allowing more privacy from the busy streets. The staff was incredible and went above and beyond. Highly recommend staying here!

What a beautiful property and people. We loved our stay, the service was impeccable, the people beautiful and the room and property so relaxing. We really appreciated the included benefits such as the free mini bar, the sunscreen and spray provided on the pool loungers the menu options for breakfast, the beautiful check in process etc it all made us feel truly welcomed.

We had a beautiful, spacious room with a huge balcony to sit on. Very peaceful even though it was in the middle of a busy street. The hotel was in a very good location to explore Ubud. DON'T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. My l'oréal paris steampod hair iron was broken due to a power outage in my room. Following their intervention, I mentioned to the electrician that my device was no longer functional. Afterwards, I asked the hotel for an investigation and following the electricity report, the hotel had agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the device since I have to get a new one. The next day, they refused to reimburse me, despite their confirmation the day before. This is unacceptable, there are very nice hotels with much better service next door. Don't go to Alaya.

This is how of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s gorgeous and very green - the property is expansive yet when you walk outside at the front you’re in a very busy, walkable area with many shopping and dining options. I liked the balance of the quiet and nature of the hotel combined with the walk ability and convenience to things. You can also walk to monkey forest area with tons of nightlife and restaurants. Lastly the staff was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely return here.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything. There are numerous restaurants you can walk to and two restaurants on the property. It wasn’t super expensive and the spa is good.
