Sapodilla Ubud

Everything was great, staff was very attentive, caring and friendly. The breakfast is good, nice afternoon tea as well. Cleanliness level of the room is good. Location is top, everything you may need is in walking distance and so many cozy delicious restaurants around.

The only comment is the tap water, has smell and sometimes water was yellowish, but I believe it’s an issue everywhere in Bali.

It was a quiet serenity place within the very busy, chaotic Ubud. The staff were all extremely wonderfully friendly and helpful. WhatsApp communication was super efficient at all times of the day. The al carte breakfast was unbelievable !!! The little garden was so pretty, it rained for 1 minute during our two weeks stay in Bali, and I managed to catch a glimpse of the rain at this hotel, so beautiful. The amazing flower bath brightened my daughter’s evening. I loved the little friendly cat who was a resident on the property also. She was very sweet. The free shuttle service was amazingly helpful.

The rooms are of an older style obviously. And you’ll always need to be wary of the mosquitoes.

I think the staff are the absolute highlight of this property - they bend over backwards to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Special shout-out to the reception team, our 1.5yo daughter absolutely loved them, and I think it was reciprocal! I reckon the value for money was unbeatable for a family stay in the area

I would have preferred the swimming pool had some sort of a barrier for smaller kids (be it a physical one or a non-slip border around it) - it's too easy for my liking to slip and fall into the pool or get a bruise

The pool is the best part of the stay, beautiful & clean just as in the pictures. There are not a lot of guests in this hotel so normally you get to enjoy the pool all by yourself.

The room and service is overrated. The water in the room bathtub and shower is literally black and water is very small, not possible to have a shower. I reported to the hotel staff and received no follow up. I was surprised that breakfast is not included, I wasn’t aware until been asked to pay at the end of my breakfast. It was 100k each, at which price you can have better food choices and experience elsewhere. Honestly it’s not worth it- the service is so slow, we waited like an hour to get everything from the set meal, the girl didn’t give us folks until asked to, and didn’t give us the coffee and tea in the set meal until asked too (which literally is just pouring from the pot and takes 30 seconds) .
