Property was perfect. Room was clean and well maintained. External facade near the pool was relaxing and beautiful. Service was prompt and top notch. Provided several choices for breakfast. There was free tea break. You can arrange for free shuttle from anywhere which was amazing. Whatsapp request were replied promptly.

Everything was great. Perhaps brighter light as we enter the property from the main road for safety and security.

Fantastic experience which will definitely recommend to others

Breakfast is really great. The free shuttle is the best surprise which is super convenient especially during raining season.

There was no hot water for 2 nights out of my 5 nights stay. But the staff helped to solve it fast. But I guess the hot water instability is the issue in many ubud hotels.

Perfect In every way, Balinese hospitality at its finest!

Amazing stay! Loved the location, the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast was fantastic. We loved the restaurant attached the hostel and the hotel itself is just behind the main road meaning it’s quiet and sanctuary like. Our favourite place over 4 different accommodations we stayed in during our trip (and the most affordable too!)

The location is good at central Ubud, easy to get around, but the room and service is overated.

The pool is the best part of the stay, beautiful & clean just as in the pictures. There are not a lot of guests in this hotel so normally you get to enjoy the pool all by yourself.

The room and service is overrated. The water in the room bathtub and shower is literally black and water is very small, not possible to have a shower. I reported to the hotel staff and received no follow up. I was surprised that breakfast is not included, I wasn’t aware until been asked to pay at the end of my breakfast. It was 100k each, at which price you can have better food choices and experience elsewhere. Honestly it’s not worth it- the service is so slow, we waited like an hour to get everything from the set meal, the girl didn’t give us folks until asked to, and didn’t give us the coffee and tea in the set meal until asked too (which literally is just pouring from the pot and takes 30 seconds) .

Good location.

I really liked the location. And the property is set back from the main road so it’s very quiet.

The water started to faulted around the third day I was there and progressively got worse. On my last night, no water came out of the taps and in the early hours of the morning, the water dripped out of the taps dark black so I couldn’t have a morning shower before departure back home later in the night.

Incredible stay

I stayed at the Sapodilla Hotel for 4 nights on my very first trip to Bali, and I absolutely loved it. As a solo traveler, feeling comfortable is so important, and this hotel made me feel completely at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and every member of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. A huge thank you to all the lovely employees for their friendliness and smiles throughout my stay! I also want to give a very special thank you to Andy, who was my driver and guide during my time in Ubud. He shared his enthusiasm and knowledge with such generosity, helping me discover the beautiful surroundings, culture, and landscapes of the region. Thank you so much, Sapodilla, for an unforgettable stay!

Peaceful oasis

Very peaceful, lovely pool and big rooms. The staff were so good, went out of their way to make us welcome. Eze was a standout, gave us a recipe and demonstration for the welcome drink when we asked. Good breakfast

Great value for money

Staff are super amazing very helpful we asked them to keep our bags in the storage for one day and they kept safe at their side also breakfast was served even when we were late room is cozy and nice all rooms shared the beautiful pool view. Hotel has prime location as it is in the beginning of the downtown street makes it easily accessible and the same time away from traffic.

There are places and people who act nice just to get a good review, and then there are those who are genuinely kind and caring. Sapodilla Ubud definitely falls into the second category. The staff here are truly wonderful—very friendly, extremely helpful, and always making sure guests feel at home. A special mention to Eka at the reception, who went out of her way to assist us and made our stay extra comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is perfect. From the warm greetings to the attentive service, everything feels thoughtful and well-trained. We felt at home here and would highly recommend Sapodilla Ubud to anyone visiting Bali.

Lovely hotel. Straight out of the room into the pool. Great location - short walk for the monkey forest and the same again for the centre of Ubud. Super friendly and helpful staff and great when things go wrong - our door came off its runners and we couldn't get in. Fixed in minutes while we had a swim. Massive breakfast!

Great hotel for a couple

The room was spacious with a balcony. We couldn't hear other guests in their rooms so it felt private. Breakfast was great. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was nice and clean.

The location was a bit out of the main centre of Ubud but the hotel provides a free shuttle. It sometimes means waiting a while for the car though.

Perfect!

Loved our stay at Sapodilla! Perfect location for exploring Ubud. Nice and quiet but walking distance to the centre of Ubud. The staff were exceptional and made us feel very special whilst we stayed for our honeymoon! The breakfast is also great. Special shout out to Eri who went above and beyond for us, picked us up from Seminyak, took us to Ubud and even picked us up for the Mountain Batur trip in the early hours of the morning, then took us to our next stop Uluwatu! Amazing service.

Perfect staff and hotel

Everything was perfect- its location, the staff, the pool, cleanliness. We stayed there for 4 nights with our 2 year old daughter. Personnel were very helpful and kind from the first day to the last day. They were so nice to our girl and to us. So many thanks to everyone in the hotel. Also the breakfast was delicious and big in portions. I also highly recommend its restaurant for good prices and tasteful food. Last but not least, a very important detail is they gave us a ride whenever we requested to ubud center and to monket forest. This is a very important perk. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Ubud and if I ever travel to Ubud again, I certainly will come to Sapodilla Ubud again.

Very Good overall

I stayed for 3 nights. The stuff of the hotel is making your stay excellent. Very friendly, very supportive. Good breakfast, a la cart, but they are very flexible there. I always had to cut down the menu option cause the portions are simply huge for my appetite :)

For me the bed was not comfortable but this is very individual thing. Btw: i requested different thinner pillow and this is available (don't be shy :)

5-star experience for a 3-star price

Beautiful accommodation in peaceful surroundings. The room is large, with a comfortable bed and great shower, and a lovely front porch overlooking the pool. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful; my laundry was collected and returned to my room on the same day. The included breakfast is outstanding, and the location is a near major Ubud attractions, bars and restaurants (I was happy to walk but there's a free shuttle if you prefer).

The wifi was a little unreliable, and it would be nice if they restocked the minibar without you having to ask. These are minor nitpicks though!

- A beautiful boutique property at the centre of the city. - Exceptional staff, very warm and always ready to go the extra mile. I travelled with my 10m old kid, never felt helpless with the staff always there to provide whatever needed. - Provides free shuttle service around the city (nearby locations) - Shoutout to Rianti, Rasmini, and Dian. We really had a comfortable stay and I highly recommend the property to people
