Ty Belgrave - Apartment 2

Location was good.

Booked on understanding the property was on 1st floor but it was on 2nd floor with no lift and it was a spiral staircase. My sister has some mobility issues and found the second spiral rather difficult. I would not have booked if I had known. No instruction about where to deposit waste or what to do with the key when leaving the apartment. Not told that the designated car park was a distance away and very difficult to inload and load luggage because of street parking restrictions.

Very clean and comfortable. Great view. Very useful to have free parking.

It wasn’t the property we booked. I was phoned on the day to say that the two-bedroomed property I had booked wasn’t available, so we were in a one-bedroomed apartment and the sofa had been turned into a bed. It was a lovely apartment though.

Great location. Clean.

No tea or coffee. Limited supply of toilet paper. Parking was a few streets away and luckily got spaces as it was shared by 3 hotels.

The host had given away the apartment we booked because his dates were wrong. I did change the dates on the booking.com app as instructed, but the hotel hadn't picked this up. They did find us another property but it wasn't as nice as the one we had booked initially. no wifi was a problem, the TV is very basic, not many channel choices
