Great location for our needs, clean and tidy. Parking is great but which is tricky as spaces are a tight squeeze.
Dishwasher tablets left to use great. Plenty of loo rolls.
From a self catering point of view the kitchen was not too well equipped, saucepans cheap and few. No kitchen roll.
Main bathroom is starting with a leak problem behind the loo, informed reception.

This is a beautiful building and I was so looking forward to staying here, having seen it on several occasions. Location is perfect and parking makes it easier. The apartment was incredibly clean and well equipped and it was very comfortable. Lovely and spacious too. It did not let me down. Thank you
This was not the apartment I had booked in this building. On arrival, I had a call to say my choice of accommodation had been changed and we would be staying in a completely different place on the second floor of a house and no parking. When I went to collect the key, I explained this new place would be difficult as the reason why I booked Llyrs yr Wylan was because my parents are in their 80s and stairs would be difficult. Sadly, I was made to feel like I was being difficult and of great inconvenience, and was grudgingly given the other ground floor apartment, which was lovely , but did overlook the carpark, so we had to have the blinds closed all the time for privacy. This attitude unfortunately spoiled my experience of my stay here hence the lower score I would have given if the customer experience had been better. Sorry.

The property was clean, and tidy inside.
The property advertises beachfront, bar and fitness centre. The exterior is more aged than the photos show. When I approached the owner for a refund, once we had looked at the property, on the basis that it was not what we were expecting it ended up with the owner yelling at me. For example I asked where the fitness centre was he told me to go for a walk. It advertises beachfront and views, but the views are only of other houses, the bar is at his hotel which is a couple of blocks away. People can look up the proprietor Emyr Davies and draw their own conclusions…

Quiet location.
We weren’t allocated the apartment we originally booked we were told we have had an upgrade. When we viewed the ‘upgrade’ it wasn’t accessible for 2 of our guests as they had mobility issues.
We were then given a cottage just 10 minutes outside (more 15-20) of town. The directions given weren’t very clear but once we found the correct road it was easy to locate.
Upon arrival the toilet was dirty, bed sheets had blood and hairs on, the walls had dried bogies and just seemed a little neglected.
Exposed downstairs without curtains and blinds. Internet was very slow to the points we couldn’t connect.
When we requested to have the bedding changed we were greeted with poor attitude from the lady on the phone. Just not what we expected and we were left disappointed.
However, location was quiet.

Nothing, as the flat I had booked (5 months in advance), and paid for, was double-booked and unavailable when we arrived.
In February 2025, I booked the 2-bed flat to share with a friend for 3 nights in July. It was in the same building as the ground floor 1-bed flat I booked for my 90-year-old mother; and my sister booked a 3rd flat in the same building for her and her daughter - so a family holiday with us all in the same building with our own private space.
I arrived with my mother to be told they had double-booked my flat and hers, and we were unable to stay, although we had paid! (Breach of contract). The owner moved my friend & me to a completely different building and said my mother could share with us, although the kitchen & sitting room were downstairs in a basement and there was no parking for my mother (blue-badge holder). She tried one night with us, but had to move out as she could not manage the stairs to take her cup of tea from the grim basement to her room on the ground floor; and the shower next to her room kept readjusting itself to scorching hot.
When I had been waiting to collect the flat keys at the Four Seasons reception, a woman & her daughter were checking in. The woman said she'd booked a flat, but that someone had rung her to say it was double-booked and moved them to hotel bedrooms. The Four Seasons tried the same trick with my husband & me in January when we'd booked a flat; they said it was double-booked and offered us rooms in the hotel instead (we refused and arranged through Booking.com to move to a different flat). On another occasion I booked a ground floor two-bedroom flat to ensure my mother could share with my husband & me. I rang ahead to guarantee it would be on the ground floor due to my mother's mobility. When we arrived, they had moved us to the first floor! Therefore, it seems the manager maximises his profits by overbooking his flats, then moving people into whatever is vacant when they arrive. So if you do book & pay, do not assume you'll end up in your reserved flat!

We were telephoned by the owner a days before visiting to say he had double booked this property and he could put us in his other hotel ( Four Seasons Budget Hotel )with complimentary breakfast . As we were visiting for a graduation it was too late to make alternative plans.
It was in a good location in the centre of town. The staff were helpful that we dealt with.
It was a budget hotel . The mugs had not been washed and our daughters’ room was not very clean. I have since seen in reviews and heard from a former employee of the Hotel that double bookings are common.

Don’t know ! Even though we booked last year they double booked and moved ours to some house 10 minutes out of town with nothing nearby spicy
No pun or restaurants a small shop that closed at 1730
Again cannot say , they lied to us telling us the other property was new , it was not and found it a bit musty and they were trying to blame booking.com

Staff were very welcoming as always. Great place, great for a wheelchair user and someone who has mobility issues. Comfy rooms and beds and great 2 bathrooms makes for a very plesant stay and feel at home.
Great location and has everything you need. Will be staying again.
Just needs a touch up of paint as you could see where children have out greasy handmarks on the wall but that is minor

We stayed at this property 3 years ago and really liked it. Spacious flat in good location and generally high standard of decoration and equipment.
It is still a great space but not as well looked after as it could be. The walls, chairs and sofa were stained; some of the crockery was chipped and mismatched; there was a lack of useful sized saucepans; and there were dozens of ants coming into the apartment from the rotting wooden frame of the garden door. We swept them out every day but they returned. We informed a member of staff about the ants when we left but there wasn’t much interest. Disappointing because it’s a great apartment but needs some attention and care. Unlikely to stay again given the cost.

Absolutely nothing
Dirty - could not check for 2 hours after the time told. And was subject to listening to a very heated and loud argument between staff at the reception Few towels and cutlery and very cold as no heating at night so slept in clothes . Very noisy and light at night . Shower tray had hairs .

The property was just like home to home and it was clean today beautiful inside. Only bad point was the quilt was to small for the cover so most night one of us just had the cover no quilt and sofa was a little low felt like it was breaking in the middle. But other than that it was a lovely place would highly recommend and will def be going back. It was also close to the town and restaurants

The property is in a good location. Short walk to shops and the promenade.
Well equipped and comfortable.
Didn’t stay in the apartment photographed on Booking.com - but another one at the back of the building (as happened to other people in the reviews).
There are parking spaces for cars at the back of the building but quite tight if you (or someone else) have a long car!

Close to the beach and the centre. Good parking. Quiet, liked the seabirds. Lots of tv's in the appartment for who likes that. We enjoyed listening to the welsh tv programmes because of the beautifull language.
Not clean. It has been recently renovated so it could have been perfect but it was also run down. I think it's from an investor who only wants to make as much quick money as possible. For instance the window handle broke off inmediatly, was not screwed on. The beds were full of different hairs (even long thick black ones) and spots. Hairs in the bath, breadcrums in the kitchen. Maybe it was a.mistake? Looks like the cleaning staff and the laundrey people were underpaid. They were kind but everything felt strange.
It was a big appartment but also a lot of money. We stayed in 8 appartements/hotels this holliday in the U.K. and this was the one where we paid the most and felt quite bad We paid much more then we expected. Maybe something with pounds and euro's don't know but look closely at your bill before paying.
I felt bad for the people working there because it looked like they meant well, so I feel bad for posting this.

Beautiful building.
Very well appointed apartments.
Excellent design and overall accommodation.
Stained sofa and dining chairs were disappointing.
Walls were marked which could be sorted with a small lock of paint.
Street was a bit noisy with students at night

Self-catering so free to get up and do what you wanted. We hired the 2bed for 3 nights - it was generously sized with two double bedrooms, a large bathroom and en-suite - plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Dog friendly by prior arrangement.

Spacious apartment. Very well fitted. Light and airy just a 2 minute walk to the beach
Although parking was available, the spaces were quite short making it very crowded when all 5 of the apartments were occupied We had to park on the street a couple of times.

The property was tastefully decorated and refurbished. It had everything you needed and was very spacious. Also it has access to the small garden which was much appreciated as the weather was very hot. Excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops.
The apartment was showing signs of wear and tear. The sofa cushions and the dining chairs were badly marked. The sofa was very soft. The shower in the main bedroom was difficult to adjust.
The outside does not look like the photo on the Booking.com website and is in need of a coat of paint. The garden needed maintenance.
This is not a cheap apartment so I think it needs to be maintained to a high standard to justify the price.
Also, there were no instructions for any of the appliances in the apartment.

When we got to the property they had overbooked our apartment. They did give us a nice a newly refurbished studio apartment but this was not the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment we had booked so this put a complete damper on our holiday
Everything was brand new and nicely done
