A beautiful and friendly place to stay in the heart of the Rodopis

There was a problem with the room we had booked because some of the detail on the booking.com website were misleading. The very friendly and helpful host overcame the problem by giving us two separate rooms at no extra cost. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and well equipped and the view across Devin from the balcony was breathtaking. The location was perfect for visiting a beautiful part of a beautiful country.

Great location with magnificent view. The rooms are clean and spacious. The host is very responsive. The wifi is stable, which allows working without any disruptions combined with calm environment.

We had been expecting something more comfortable but it is OK if all you expect are minor conditions

I guess the place is OK as a simple guest house but we expected something different especially given the highly rated score on booking's site. Egor the host, doesn't speak English and had to call a friend to help us communicate this booking problem. After understanding the problem, he was kind enough to allow us to stay all four of us in 1 room and gave a partial refund for the second room.

The host didn't answer the message I sent after booking and when we arrived no one was there to receive us and give us the keys. Also, a very disturbing fact is that for some reason although there are 1 double bed and 2 single beds in each room we couldn't book the whole family in one room and had to pay for 2 rooms - each with 1 double bed and 2 single bed. The kitchen was missing many things, there is no oven and very few utensils to prepare food or basic products. The washing room as well was dis not have enough toilet paper and no mop to dry the water that filled the bathroom. Fortunately I caught him the day after when he brought other guests, because he is not there most of the time.

An apartment with everything, including views and a BBQ on the balcony. A waterfall shower that really felt like having a bath, I have a waterfall shower at home but it is nothing compared to this.

Awesome view, clean rooms and great price value

Amazing view, big rooms with small kitchen. The host was really friendly and helpful with tips. It was very clean and it was a great price value.

It just misses very few things to make your stay even nicer. Maybe the most practicle will be something to dry/wipe the wet bathroom floor after shower.

The location is superb, at the top of a hill looking out over the town. The large terrace was a great place to sit, and drink and eat in the afternoon sun and the evening. The apartment we stayed in was immaculate and looked like it was brand new. If you don't have a car the walk uphill is quite steep, but we managed it easily carrying backpacks in the hot afternoon sun. It was easier once we found a shortcut up and down a rough path.

Great guesthouse perched on a hill overlooking Devin

The host, Egor, is very friendly and knows everything you need to know about Devin and its surroundings. The guest house is his own projects and he is really passionate about it - it has been built so that the guests have comfort and privacy. The rooms were spacious and clean, there are BBQs on every floor. There is also a kitchenette in every room, so you could cook your own food (although Devin offers very good places to eat). The house is very near to the center of the city (but it is located on a hill, so it is a steep climb to go back). The view is awesome - Bornik overlooks the entire town and offers amazing views near sunset time. Behind the hill there is a tourist trail through the forest, which offers a very nice walk (beware of sheep guard dogs though). I arrived by motorcycle and Egor found a nice dry place to keep if from the rain, which was additional very nice touch, thanks Egor!

Nothing really, but a thing to note - the last floor is still under construction, so you might hear some noises during the day if you stay home. But by the summer it should be completed. Also, the path from the house to the center is not paved, so when it is raining it can get slippery and muddy, but Egor will be fixing this as well soon.

Хотелът е с невероятна гледка към Девин от високо, но пък едновременно с това се намира на 2 мин. от центъра на града. Настаниха ни в много уютно, светло и просторно студио с модерно обзавеждане. Домакините бяха помислили за всичко необходимо. Всеки етаж разполага с тераса, на която има маси с пейки, където може да си изпиете кафето или да хапнете на фона на впечатляващата гледка на града от високо. Много ни хареса мястото, абсолютно бих препоръчала на близки и приятели.
