Self Contained Unit, Private Bathroom, Private Entrance, Close to Shops & Hospital Homestay

We had a wonderful stay at this self-contained unit and would highly recommend it. This was our second stay, and we were just as pleased as the first time. The hosts are absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating. We arrived quite late in the evening, and without us even asking, they had thoughtfully turned on the reverse-cycle air conditioner to warm the room for our arrival. It was such a lovely and unexpected touch, and we really appreciated their thoughtfulness. The unit is comfortable, private, and very convenient, with its own private entrance and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Its location is excellent—close to shops and the hospital, which made things especially convenient. The property is clean, welcoming, and feels like a home away from home. We really appreciate the comfort, privacy, and convenience it offers. There’s also a fantastic little bakery just down the road. If you get the chance, be sure to try their butter chicken pies—they’re absolutely delicious! We’re already planning to stay here again on our next visit. A fantastic place to stay, and highly recommended!

Everything was excellent.

Place was lovely! Small and convenient. Super easy to get into town and back (especially while using uber). Bathroom was decent size and room was clean and comfy. Bed was perfect. Hosts were amazing! Super lovely and welcoming.

I wouldnt say a bad thing about this place but, things to consider: Firstly, it is on a bit of a sketchy street. Can be a bit intimidating, especially if you weren’t expecting it but youre safe where you stay. So dont let that discourage you on booking/staying there. Secondly, the room is connected straight onto their home. Personally, it wasnt an issue but some people like to have full privacy so i thought id add this. And lastly, the carpark is small. It sits right infront of the room. You have to be mindful of both the host and their neighbors that sits in front of their home (shared driveway, basically) so i recommend a smaller car to come in and out. Other than that, it was perfect :)

The unit was very nice and clean. It was close to the hospital, which is what I was after as my husband had cardiac surgery. Bed was comfy and shower was devine.

I had trouble getting heat out of the heat pump. There didn’t appear to be instructions and the few times I ran into the hosts I had other things on my mind and forgot to ask.
