Good location and had the basics that we needed for our stay.

The bed was broken and the slats came apart in the middle of the night. Underneath the bed was propped up with pieces of wood to hold the broken bed up. Worst sleep ever! You can’t expect people to pay to sleep on a bed that is broken 😡 the water pressure in the shower was also terrible.

A Warm, Nostalgic Gem – Feels Like Coming Home

Cozy Watt House reminded me so much of the very first home I ever bought, warm, wood-filled, and full of that gentle sense of possibility. It feels like stepping back in time in the best way, while still enjoying thoughtful modern touches. The styling is beautifully curated: fresh, charming, and respectful of the home’s original character. This is not luxury, this is home warmth, and it’s perfect. The original kitchen cupboards have been lovingly sanded back to a soft glow, and the whole place has that lived-in comfort that makes you instantly relax. Hamilton was hot when I arrived, so finding a jug of cold water in the fridge felt incredibly thoughtful. Little things like that matter. It genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into someone’s home, in the most welcoming way. If you’re an international guest, just know you’re staying in a real family neighbourhood, where people live and laugh and build their lives. It’s beautiful. The TV has all the streaming channels you could want, and the kitchen even had a sharp knife, which sounds minor, but when you’re slicing tomatoes, it makes all the difference. A truly cosy, heartfelt stay. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Although property was an older building it had been renovated and presented nicely. We had a problem with an appliance and owner communicated with us and arrived promptly with a new appliance.

Had a really bad experience.

Living space was good.

The stay was not cleaned. The sheets were not cleaned. There were cockroaches everywhere. Our cots were broken. Horrible horrible place. Water glasses had mold in it. Worst stay in our entire vacation in NZ.

An average home for the price conscious.

It was clean. The lounge room was ok.

It’s an old house that needs a lot of work. The bed was creaky and old and pillows way too small but the bedrooms had what you needed. The hot water in the shower wasn’t strong enough. Not enough cooking utensils. There was a smell in the kitchen. And the lawns needed a mow.

Great location and nice rooms. Very comfortable.

There was a water issue. No hot water in kitchen sink and poor shower water pressure. Advised manager but we had to leave before it was fixed. The front door was really hard to work out initially and took a bit of effort each time to open.

Not quite what I expected

Reasonably handy to where we needed to go

Very basic and cold. My bed was not comfy, my friends did not complain. Heating was inadequate for this time of year. Very poor shower pressure. No smoke alarms and an electric blanket would have been nice.

Excellent stay!

Location for us was great! The heat pump for this time of the year was good. The owner was on to it with instructions on how to get in & what to do when we were to leave.

The shower didn’t have the best pressure but nothing to complain about :)

Hamz ova nite stay..

I liked that it had heaters cause man alive it got so cold .. And my nephew had to stay with us...and wasn't a hassle at all So very QUITE🤩🤩🤩🤩

Disappointing, the things needed to make the stay comfortable were lacking.

quiet location with off street parking. nicely decorated.

No pressure in the shower and the base is cracked. one bed slid every time someone moved in it. The other bed squeaked horribly every time someone turned in it. Internet kept cutting out which was frustrating as needed it for work. No ability to chrome cast to tv and no free channels set up on it. Extractor fan in the bathroom made a awful noise when there was a breeze or wind, we had no way to stop it so at night when trying to sleep it was bad.

The wifi was very patchy Shower was very weak Hot water was not very hot No instructions as to how things worked We were supplied with 3 different codes for the lockbox. Tried to contact hosts and left a message. Never got any reply. Property was a bit neglected outside.

Cozy quiet place near central Hamilton

Central but quiet place in the city. Close to Hamilton Garden. Cozy, clean and tidy place, good quality kitchenware. A heater in the living room.

Since we're from tropical country, it was quite cold for us at night in the rooms, could've been better with a heater in each room beside the one in the living room, or an electric blanket on the beds. Also, the water pressure was too small, it took us too long to take a shower.

Older house with plenty of space. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Conveniently located. Well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed relaxing in the lounge and watching Netflix.

Disappointed

The area was quiet in the evening. It is close to some take away shops.. There was plenty of cutlery, cookware, dishes and pots. The kettle and toaster were new and there was a large fridge freezer. There was a working heat pump, which came in handy when the sun went down

The place needs a thorough clean, there was sticky patches on the lounge floor, the recliner chair smelt so bad we could not even sit near it and the kitchen sink was dirty. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, making it difficult to wash up after eating. The shower pressure was pathetic, it took five minutes to wash shampoo out of my short hair and it was either scalding hot or cold. The bed was hard and lumpy with only a very thin quilt and no extra blankets in the room, I got cold on one of the nights. The grass could have done with a mow .
