We really enjoyed our time at Chapel Mouse Cottage, it was ideal for our stay.
The communications from the owners were clear and first class. The location was ideal - quiet enough at night yet close enough to walk to local bars and shops and ideally placed for visiting that part of Cumbria and the western side of the Lakes.
The car parking space was easy to access and use and all facilities that we needed for our stay were available and on hand.
The 'welcome pack' was appreciated and to be honest better than most. We would certainly stay there again in taking a break in that area.
Nothing really - as I have already said it was a good and well located holliday let, and we would stay there again if taking a break in that area.

Fab little cottage with all the facilities you need for a long or short stay. 5 mins walk to shops, bars & restaurants. Great it has private parking. Loved playing the mouse game. Fantastic welcome pack which consisted of wine, beer, teabags, milk & biscuits.
Nothing to dislike..The stairs are quite steep so may pose a problem with anyone with knee problems.

An excellent base for exploring the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall sites.
A good range of places to dine with a variety of types of food from restaurants, pubs, and cafes.

Clean good facilities and very generous welcome pack
Could do with another shelf on the right side of the sink and a shelf in the shower for shampoo etc
