Bus service not available. Did manage to get taxi. Highly recommend for a relaxing break. We would go back again

The check. in was welcoming and flexible with dogs staying free. It was comfortable and warm but not luxury as described. The bed was only accessible from one side, it was small and the tiny shower meant that even my size 10 frame touched the cold sides of the screen. The velux window above the bed is unfortunate when rain hammers on it all night. Perfectly adequate accommodation but set to disappoint with luxury in the description. Great location for the Lakes and a fantastic pub close by The Royal Yew

My partner & I stayed here for the week, as we were working a few miles up the road. The apartment was clean but very cold, only a little electric heather on the wall. The bathroom was ok apart from the Shower was too small and once in the shower there was no room to move to wash yourself so we ended up having to get a shower at the property that we were working at. When entering the property you had to climb up some metal stairs and there was not sufficient Lighting in the yard to do this safely as the steps were slippy with the rain and you could not see to open the door. The oven was not very good and no instructions how to use it, as it was rather ornate.
