Disappointing
location in Cockermouth was great, very close to all shops and restaurants. I would say the house could certainly be cleaner, however it is very well equipped
the car parking situation doesn't work, unfortunately on the first day we luckily caught the traffic warden and she told us our numberplate hadn't been registered but the hosts and that we have 3 minutes to pay for a ticket before the system automatically issued a fine to my home address.

Great place for a family stay.
The house is very quiet, has a nice garden, was done up recently to good standards. The neighbors were friendly.
Not much really. We had a good time. We could not work out how to use TV in the lounge. Does it need resetting? Please check and make it simpler for other occupants.

Comfortable beds Decoration is lovely
Very noisy neighbours. The walls are paper thin & next doors television kept me awake. The sinks don’t drain properly. The hot water was only warm at best. Parking was a nightmare.

Couldn't be better.
We thought the property was exceptional. It was extremely well equipped for a holiday rental. A real home from home. It was very warm with tasteful decor and extra touches. We were surprised and pleased to find it decorated for Christmas. The location is excellent with plenty of places to eat and shopping on the doorstep. A real find - we will return.
The shower could do with an upgrade but the owners have informed us this is in process.
