Comfortable, warm winter break in an interesting quiet area.

Quiet location.

Small point for info. Generally well equipped but there were no tea towels and if there was a tin opener we couldn’t find it.

Lovely clean property in a quiet friendly location with comfortable beds and a thougtful host

Loved the loication. Cottage very conveniently placed for what we wanted. Was quiet and public transport links not great but we wanted the quiet. Cottage was not luxury bit beds were comfortable and the rest was perfectly adequate. Booking was easy and we had no trouble afterwards either. Best part was that the buiding was lovely and clean

wish there had been another bathroom. We struggled with just one. Would have been good to have pans in the kitchen that were more useable as we cooked all our own meals but struggled with the pots and pans

Spacious property in a lovely location … Loved the comfy beds ! Dog loved the decking and garden . Close to shop pub and beach and free next to cottage parking .

Weekend Break

Lovely setting in Allonby with views to the sea the beach is beautiful. We had lovely weather for the weekend it broke on Sunday but we found places to visit so it didn't affect us at all . Accommodation was perfect very comfortable with everything we needed . Lovely secure garden area to sit out in perfect for our little dog Poppy . Very near to some lovely little towns to visit .

Fabulous Location local amenities great restaurants and pubs and the cottage was a stone throw away from the beach.

Exceptional

Just spent a fabulous weekend in Allonby at Honeysuckle Cottage. The weather was wonderful and the cottage was perfect, so warm and cosy and equipped with everything you could need. Fully equipped kitchen, large and cosy living room and three good sized bedroom - everything spotlessly clean and in a perfect location for long beach walks.

Amazing views!

We loved this cottage which is almost directly on the beach. I couldn't believe the amazing view from the front windows. I ate my breakfast overlooking the sea and beach which was perfect. We had a brilliant time. Thank you.

Fabulous little (actually quite spacious!) cottage by the beach.

Loved everything about this sweet home. Waking up to an amazing view straight from our bedroom, watching sunsets from the garden, spending super cosy evenings by the fireplace (electric but still fab) and much more! Cottage was immaculately clean and very welcoming. Our host made sure we had everything to feel comfortable. We were given beach chairs to use, there is a hose to wash off the sand, kitchen is well equipped (from proper utensils and pots to French coffee press). Huge fridge freezer with ice boxes (so helpful in the heat). Cushions, blankets and candles made our evenings even more enjoyable. Few simple but useful things like washing machine, dishwasher and cleaning supplies made huge difference. Friendly neighbours gave us more reasons to smile everyday. Highly recommended!

A lovely cottage near the sea for somewhere to relax and recharge your batteries.

We liked the view. It was a lovely village and everyone was really friendly. The neighbours were very helpful. The fish and chips from the Codfather were delicious. The beds were really, really comfortable. There was a bottle of Prosecco and a bucket with sand toys waiting for us on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The village was in travelling distance to the towns nearby.

We couldn't get 'co-op' tv which is BBC1, BBC2, ITV etc and couldn't log into the BBC I-player. We had to buy cheap collapsible garden chairs so we could sit out on the decking.
