House was confortable, great for kids of all ages and all bedrooms were great which is ususual
Property was great, all rooms have comfortable beds, facilities were great. We were there together as an extended family and everything worked well. Celebrating family home from Australia.
Would have been great to have a larger downstairs living room. Dining room space was amazing and we were unlucky with the storm so didn’t utilise the outside space. The upstairs living rooms were lovely.

Overall, we had a great stay but the house is very tired and in need of a bit of TLC.
The kitchen and dining room were perfect. Very clean and very well equipped. The bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean and our bed was very comfortable.
The house was very smelly and stale. I think this is because the carpets/curtains need cleaning, and the rooms need a good airing. Also quite disappointing that there was not a sitting room that could fit everyone in. The family room and the one next to it do not have a toilet in them and they are probably the rooms that need one most.

Kitchen facilities were great, but one dish washer had no cutlery basket in it and in the other one had holes in the bottom of the basket and cutlery fell through, which stopped the rotary arm spinning. 4 can openers and not one of them worked
Rest of the downstairs was a throw back to an 80’s youth hostel; bedrooms and corridors dark and dingy plus no shelves in the shower rooms. Showers were ok if you were 7ft tall, by the time the water hit you it was a slight sprinkle. The corridors & bedrooms smelt very damp. The summer house was filthy, full of cigarette ash and not a place you could use, the BBQ needed a clean too. It is such a sham as from the outside the house was lovely but once inside it was a different story. Sofa was torn in a few places and the dining table had to be scrubbed before we could use it it was very sticky and grubby.
