A Gem in the Heart of Old Town

Boutique Hotel La Ciudadela Marbella was absolutely gorgeous, and the location could not have been better. The rooms are elegant and modern, yet still very comfortable and welcoming. Looking out our windows onto the flowering trees felt like being in a fairytale. We could not have been more pleased. We did not want to leave! As a family of five, we booked two rooms, and the hotel was able to accommodate us by placing them directly across from each other. Much appreciated!

Peaceful, magic, and loving life.

I LOVE the area, it's picturesque. The staff was super friendly, check in was easy. The room was adorable, had a coffee machine, and the shower was really nice. Such a beautiful, magical experience in Marbella!

Nice Spanish hotel

Perfect location right in the old center. Near everything, coffee shops restaurants. Spanish arhitecture, nice inner courtyard. Big bathroom with huge shower and double sink. We loved it. Very nice touch with the ghd hairdryer and straightner

We payed for a room with city view but we got one with view to the inner courtyard so no windows only the light from the entrance. We had to pay extra for an upgrade to a suite!

My room was in a building that it seemed under maintenance, piles of chairs were at the ground floor and they also had few issues with security and access. It felt more of an abandoned building thn a hotel.

Fabulous place that makes you feel pampered, at the heart of Marbella

Perfect location, extremely friendly and helpful people, lovely decor, high-quality personal care amenities, attention to every detail and delicious breakfast. I've even extended my stay as I loved the overall atmosphere. Had a great time and would definitely comeback. Thank you for everything!

Amazing!

The best room ever! we had presidential apartment and it was totaly worth it! So amazing room. Hard to find elsewhere. Super clean, special and elegant. We traveled all around Andalusia always trying to find unique place and there is nothing like this out there.

A beautiful gem in the middle of old town

Great location in small street in the heart of old tow of Marbella. Room beautifully arranged, very tasteful, great service - we were surprised with the "good night" service when we were back from the dinner - dimmed lights, bed made, all arranged - lovely! room equipped in all you could need - including hair streightener :) Breakfast was exceptional, fresh made, beautifully served in the restaurant downstairs. lovely buganvilla just in front of our window.

Room size quite small, and a bit unpractical - the bathroom almost completely see- trough, to the entrance and to the bed, which made light from the bathroom disturbing the sleeping person in the room. but all in all - a little gem.

Very enjoyable and I would visit again.

Excellent boutique hotel with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good location. Unfortunately, breakfast was a little dis-organized and made us late for an appointment. However, I was assured that this point will be attended to and I would return to give them another chance.

Please see above comments. The staff need to be more prompt with both ordering and delivering breakfast.

Less than impressed

Location and hotel staff. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was good. The room was nice but on the smaller side. Antonio from the front desk was awesome. He took care of my parking voucher and he found me a place to get a massage.

Ate at hotel restaurant 2 evenings. One item was not available and no substitution for it. The first night was a great eating experience. The second night, my waiter was a snob and said nothing to me. Made my whole experience horrible and told the manager I would not eat dinner there again. Lotion was not replaced.
