Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella - Adults Only Recommended

Hotel Beach -was clean and nice vibe. Easy to get a sun lounger. Deco- was interesting and quirky. Location - was ideal for strolling into the old town. Around the hotel- the hotel had a nice ambience with the background music and scent in the reception area, clean and bright.

Rooms-My room was very basic, lack of wardrobe space, no drawers at all to put clothes, pillows were very firm and I got a neck ache. The room was very noisy, I could hear the traffic from the road all the time including the early hours so I did not sleep well. I requested to switch rooms or upgrade but they were unable to which probably ruined the holiday. They did not offer me any form of gesture of goodwill or complimentary services/items when I raised my complaint. The TV signal was also temperamental in my room and didn't work half the time. The TV didn't work at all in my mother's room. Very disappointing and not to the standard we would expect. Checking in- very long wait and lengthy process. Staff were friendly but not proactive or attentive which I would expect for this sort of hotel. Likewise, guests are issued with too many cards- one for the room and one for claiming beach towels- completely inefficient and unnecessary in my view. Moreover, my room key card didn't work for the gym (which it should have done like it did for both my family members who were in separate rooms) so the reception staff issued me a third card to use just for the gym hence I found carrying three cards was ridiculous. Gym- very basic, lack of more equipment especially resistence and weight-training equipment like cable machines, barbells, or pull up bars. One of the bikes did not work either. Worst issue of all was there was no air-con very stuffy and uncomfortable to workout in the gym. Lifts- there were three lifts for the whole hotel which isn't enough. My family and I would resort to using the stairs as this was quicker than waiting for one of the lifts. Spa- Guests are only permitted one free hour (for the whole of their stay) to use the spa which is poor value for money in my view.

Great hotel, everywhere very clean with superb facilities and all the staff were very good. The fact there are no children is brilliant.

I had a solo trip to this hotel for a much needed rest and relaxation (I had friends staying nearby). The hotel exceeded my expectations - the staff were all lovely and helpful. The facilities excellent - clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the private beach lovely. Dinner on the beach was a real highlight. Location was perfect too. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel was expensive and over my usual budget and so I would look to book not in such high season next time. But it was a very enjoyable stay and so worth it on this occassion.

Everything! We loved Amaré and it’s standout facilities: the private beach, being able to order food and drinks to our sunbeds at the touch of a button, the quality of the food and drinks, the choice at breakfast, the spa - everything was great. However, one of the best things about the hotel is its staff. Everyone was so lovely and friendly, and always happy to help.

Very, very minor point but the gym is quite small.

Size of the pool/pool area is not adequate to the hotel capacity. Beach bar is not at all aligned with the hotel comfort or offerings. Beach is subpar in every sense. Dirty, smelly, lots of algae, just horrible.

A fantastic hotel, well located, excellent breakfast options and staff that were happy to help at the drop of a hat. Lovely hotel and only a short walk into the old town and the bars on the beachfront.

Beautiful location on the coast with restaurant and loungers right on the beach. Modern, clean building. Exceptional meals. Breakfast on the veranda was amazing. Very nice gym with high-end equipment. Staff was excellent.

Location couldn’t be better or more central. Breakfast set up was perfect, consistently great each morning. No shortage of beds at the pool & the table side service buttons were super efficient. Rooftop was gorgeous, a really great vibe. Staff throughout the hotel were fabulous, so accommodating. Overall a genuinely quiet and relaxing atmosphere everywhere.

Pool water was very cold. Elevator wait time was quite long also but understandably can’t be helped. Dinner in the restaurant was not great, for the two of us to dine - a starter, main, no dessert, a water and a cocktail came to about €120. Far cheaper & better meal alternatives along the water. I personally think approximately €400 a night is quite pricey considering it’s 4 star.

A well run hotel with very friendly staff. The room was great and well sound proofed. The shower was easy to operate. A good choice of breakfast. I did not have dinner at the hotel. A very enjoyable stay and I have already recommended it to several friends.
