Lovely spot for couples, the cottage is in an idyllic location and a short walk into Settle

Beautiful location next to the Church and a great pub on your doorstep serving good pub grub and drinks. The cottage is a perfect spot for couples looking for a little weekend getaway. Décor is a little dated but everything worked fine and the log burner kicked out some serious heat!

The street is tight for parking, lucky if you can squeeze into the spot outside the cottage. The check in time of 17:00hrs is too late, needs looking into.

Serious problems with poor plumbing in kitchen and bathroom. Water leaking through the ceiling into the lounge. The musty smell was probably due to this being a long standing issue as stains to the ceiling were evident. Fridge and freezer badly maintained.

The location excellent basic need all catered for. Information booklet was a godsend when trying to work tv and heating

Bathroom could do with a proper deep clean . Tiles were very dirty. Just aesthetics but didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay

Lynchgate cottage made a lovely holiday even better.

Location was so very good, Giggleswick is full of beautiful gardens, green trees, places to walk, streams, & interesting history & architecture . We used the local pub which was good, locals were friendly & helpful.as the weather was so good during our stay ,we found the patio & outside furniture very useful. A clean village, quiet & peaceful.

The throws on the settees weren’t big enough, so we were constantly re-arranging them. If anything the water pressure was too strong, water not very palatable.

Very clean and well equipped and more spacious than we thought. Quiet so we had a good sleep. Easy to walk to Settle with all amenities there. A couple of pubs close by.

A perfectly located little historic cottage next to a pub and in a quiet village location right next to Settle. The property was immaculate, well furnished, beds were amazingly comfortable and warm, bath/shower was perfect, the house was warm and cosy, and the character of the property was a delight.

Cosy, traditional, perfectly equipped with a superb location!

Extremely well equipped cottage, from kitchen utensils, to umbrellas, information on local amenities & walks, outdoor chairs & table. The beds were very comfortable, the sofas you could melt into, it was cosy and warm with the traditional wood burning stove & lots of lighting options all added to this. The location in the center of the village, next to 2 fabulous pubs, especially the Harts head all added to the experience. we will definitely return ! Thanks so much

Perfect comfort for after finishing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks

All the info we got was more than enough, couldn’t of asked for more. Perfect stay perfect location for us, everything in walking distance , very clean was a great stay for us all

Parking is the only thing that was a bit hard but we did have 3 cars as we was coming from different locations but if there was one or 2 cars would of been fine

Lovely comfortable place with lots of character

Lovely character cottage in the heart of the village, nice space, very comfortable and very well equipped (with very clear labelling which was a nice touch!) Good communication from the host, with clear instructions and pre-empting questions/concerns.

There was no door to the second bedroom which was directly above the kitchen- it's obviously a quirky place and the layout makes a door difficult but it's very much a consideration when there are 2 bedrooms, where you're obviously concerned with not disturbing other people.

Charming comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet location yet convenient for exploring the Dales.

The cottage was in a quiet location within a quaint village full of old charm character. The cottage was equipped with everything you could need and by far the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in including washing machine and dishwasher. (even an umbrella should the weather be wet. Two railway stations within a mile so really convenient and also an ideal location for exploring the Dales.

There was nothing I can think of that I didn't like.

Lovely, clean and cozy cottage

What a lovely clean cottage, with all the amenities you would need. It's a good base for Ingleton Falls, we really enjoyed our stay here.

I found the bed and pillows a bit hard, but that's probably down to prefence, my daughter on the other hand found her bed comfy, that's the only thing that i didnt like.

Ideální dovolená v anglickém cottege

Ubytování bylo fantastické, tak nějak představuji tradiční anglický cottage někde v menším městě. Předání klíče a poskytnuté informaci byli dostačující. V pěší dostupnosti do centra města kde najdete spoustu kaváren a restaurací. Poměrně velký supermarket Booth. V ubytování bylo vše potřebne, dobře zásobená kuchyň. Vzhledem k deštivému počasí velice oceňuji teplotu, a spoustu topících jednotek na kterých se dalo usušit věci po turech. Ideální bod pro turistiku v Yorkshire dales parku. Při příjezdu jsme měli trochu potíže s zamykáním vstupních dveří, nakonec stačilo jen otočit klikou nahoru, asi nějaká místní specialita. Hodně se nám také líbily plakáty od British railway, po celém domě :)

Bylo docela hodně emailů hned po rezervaci ubytování, a pak ještě pár desítek před příjezdem, bylo docela oříšek najít v tom právě ty potřebné ohledně kódu ke schránce s klíče. Další problem byl ze se během sprchování voda protékala do prvního patra ze stropu, jen pro info, nějak nám to ten pobyt nekazilo, ale může být větší dlouhodobý problém.
