Fantastic place and extremely welcoming host!

We stayed in Hayloft 1 over a weekend in Feb 2026. The location of the place is brilliant. It’s very close to various shops, pubs and cafe. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Big fridge, oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine etc. we particularly enjoyed the log burner which gave it an authentic Yorkshire cottage feel. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Romantic, cosy, luxurious stay

This is pure luxury with every last thing thought of! Cosy, romantic - perfect! We arrived to wine on the table and chocolate cookies, wood and matches for the log burning fire, milk in the fridge, coffee and tea, fluffy towels and everything you would need. It is a very short walk from the station and we had a fantastic 2 night’s sleep - a much needed break from work, kids and the city. Would recommend to anyone.

A little gem in the heart of Settle

Location was great, parking close by with reasonable pricing. Log burner was nice and cosy, modern kitchen, lovely bedroom, bed very comfortable. Easy contact with owners, a little gem.

Not a deal breaker but found the sofa uncomfortable for a cozy night in, in front of the fire. A coffee table or a pouffe would have made a difference.

Weekend break to Yorkshire

The upper cottage was very cosy and well equipped with everything you need .Was clean and spacious.

A nice little place in central Settle.

Communication with hosts was excellent. Accommodation is very central to the town, but very quiet. A nice place to stay for our break. Only a 5 min walk to the station and its well worth taking the train to Carlisle- stunning scenery. We would happily recommend and also return ourselves in the future.

Great little place for a couple to stay. Beautiful area.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, the bed particularly so. The bathroom clean and modern. The sitting area very tasteful and everything you would need is there. The kitchen well equipped and easy to use. We liked the position in Settle, close to the centre of everything, very accessible.

Lovely hidden away apartment, would love to stay here again to explore more of Settle.

The location was great. Very central, but also very peaceful. The flat had everything we needed as well as a few welcome treats from the host - milk, cookies and a bottle of wine, which were very much appreciated. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they were very helpful. The bed was amazingly comfortable!

I think the only downside is that the room is not as dark as I would like at night, but I always take an eyemask with me so had no problems sleeping.

We liked everything about this apartment, both in and out. It was elegantly furnished to a very high standard with attention to every detail. We were left some lovely treats to enjoy which was very kind and thoughtful.

Lovely, unique apartment in a great location in Settle.

Great location, lovely unique apartment in an old hayloft. Good provisions in the apartment - smart tv, lots of cutlery and plates etc. Some nice touches like a bottle of wine and packet of cookies left for you when you arrived.

Location excellent. Parking very close. Able to unload at gates of accommodation. Local restaurants and cafes varied and very good, at least the ones we tried. Excellent base to explore around the area. Milk, wine and cookies a nice touch.

On the advertising blurb it mentioned there would be bath robes and slippers supplied, there were none.

Fourth stay in this apartment ! We love the central location in Settle and the character of the apartment. It's reasonably well equipped, warm in cold weather, cool in hot weather and clean. The hosts are very responsive if you need anything.

Beautiful Coach House Stay

Gorgeous place to stay. Liked the little bottle of wine on arrival, clean and fresh towels and logs for the log burner. The host was helpful prior to arrival and the property was easy to find from instructions given. Nice central location.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

The property is beautifully situated in the centre of the village with views of the hills in all directions. The furnishings were super comfortable, with a cute log burning fire, and the shower was nice and powerful with no concerns for water temperature. After completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks during the day we crashed out on the bed which was incredibly comfortable, a great place to relax and get a good nights sleep & rest. A beautiful cottage/apartment, we will absolutely be coming back. A brilliant stay. & fantastic hosts.

We loved our weekend in Settle. Perfectly located right in the heart of town the apartment felt like a secret hideaway. The facilities were excellent and it was spotlessly clean. The welcome from the 3 kitties in the courtyard was an added bonus!

excellent location communication by hosts was perfect, even allowing us an earlier check in as we arrived by train which was much appreciated

kept awake throughout the night due to noise of boiler (being just above bedroom area) soundproofing would help mattress not supportive, very soft and kept rolling into the middle of mattress fabric of roman blind at front door had large hole in it

Very pretty and well equipped. Comfy bed. Great location for walking in the Dales. Noise from a pump of some kind (water system?) kept me awake one night but my partner slept fine.
