The whole cottage was lovely. We were expecting something much smaller. This property is very spacious! And beautifully designed 😍

Great location, lovely living room and well-equipped kitchen.
Bed was small and uncomfortable. Temperature of the house was on the cool side.

We liked the quirky nature of the place! Also that it was so central and reasonably priced. Bruce, our host shared local knowledge too which really enhanced our stay. Thanks Bruce!
Not a problem for us staying just one night however quite a few cobwebs around. That said it is the time of year for them and in a characterful place like this it's probably a full time job keeping on top of them!

Excellent location, really nice mezzanine level to lay down and relax
The bed, bedding, pillows are in a horrible state and should be replaced.
The towels were awful, rough and damp smelling and both the drains in the sink and bath don't drain well. The extractor in the kitchen doesn't work and the oven door cant close properly.
In the living area is an old heavily stained couch and a TV that doesn't work (we didn't choose the place for the TV but on a day where it rained heavily it would have been nice to have the option).
It's such a shame because it's a wonderful building and location, there's just a significant lack of care or evidence of any recent investment in the property.
