The pool and being close yo the beach ⛱️

Good evening. Thank you for the renting of your property. I have to mention the following The receptionist was friendly Walking into the place was overwhelming due to a very potent and strong smell of smoke from the indoor BBQ. There was no ventilation, and the smell went through the entire place. I had to open up all the doors and windows for us to breathe. The kettle wasn't working and I said no to a kettle because we had one in the bedroom with the 2 cups and sauces, but when my daughter brought this to me for us to use, the kettle had old merky water with dust and fly in it and I wasn't prepared to clean that up. You may have a look. It's still like that. The lights are very dim, and the place has minimal light. Mom kept tripping because she couldn't see. The extractor fan in the double bed bathroom is black and is not safe for anyone's health. The cupboards need to be opened and aired. It smells like mold, and we couldn't hang anything in there. The bathroom doors hmmm we had to shower in the dark because the outsiders could see EVERYTHING lol, this was extremely funny. Maybe changing the bedroom doors to the bathroom doors 😉 😜 I hope you take this as constructive criticism. I have to be honest. We didn't have a great time, even though it was self-catering, I feel that everything should have been properly checked before your guests arrive. I am very thankful that you came out to check the things that needed attention. The pool was so welcoming and clean I hope my feedback will help to improve your rental in the future 🙂 Have a good evening

Komyntjie 1's location is great, very central. The pool is also great, even though it is shared with the other units in the stand. The front patio/ braai area is also very nice. The fireplace in the living area is something special.

We were three adults ( married couple plus one single person) and therefore required a place that would provide privacy. It was my bad though; I saw afterwards the ad stated one room, but I searched for 2 bedroom units on the app and was therefore caught by surprise to see the guests that slept in the main bedroom had to walk though the spare bedroom to get to their room. Thus zero privacy for those occupying the 1st room. The one shower's knob was missing, which made it difficult to open the door. The place is in desperate need of a deep clean. It would be nice if iron facilities were provided. Wi-fi signal very unreliable. I was not aware of the R250 surcharge they charge for a dog, but I understood, and paid it with a smile. There are only three chairs in the lounge, even though the unit sleeps 4. Be willing to sit on a hard dining room chair if you are 4!

Location is spot on. The place is very dark, not like the pictures advertised. The TV in unit 2 wasn't working properly, connection error with the plugs. Overall it was good but I did find the place very dark. Not quite what I had expected.

Small and poorly designed toilet / shower facilities, very dark with no lights during load shedding, The R250 for Maltese is way too much as there is no pet facilities.

The really old authentic fisherman's house with beautiful furniture pieces The location was nice and central and very near to the beach The inside fireplace was great and the house is well equipped.
