Sheltered short stay close to the beach.

Great Location for easy access to the beach. 2 separate bedrooms both en suite, gave good privacy. Thick towels, also with hair dryer in bathroom. Great outside seating area, protected from the wind, with outside table & chairs and 2 loungers. lnside lounge with large TV with DSTV,and dining table, open kitchen. Pans and cutlery in good order.

Could have had more wine glasses and a small cutting knife.

We had to make it work to enjoy our stay.

We are all adults and not children,the owner made us quiet had to stop talking at 9.00,we were not loud or disrepectful,towards the others that also booked in. The owner very unfriendly and that made us wanted to pack up the next morning,but stayed because we planned this weekend away long time ahead. He should pay more respect to his guests,because people paid and does not stay for free. The bathroom tap is broken and he should pay more attention to it. The braai is a total disaster,he should fix that because the pressure of the wind from top press the smoke down and that makes it unpleasant to enjoy the fire to braai.

Mosselbank is a great venue

It was our second time back at Mosselbank, and having had a good experience our first time, we had a bit of expectation. Our expectations were only somewhat met this time around. The unit was full equipped and even had coffee, tea, sugar and spice. The unit was clean, and it had a great view. Our balcony was well sheltered in the rain, and we could leave the door open despite the heavy rain. We loved the beautiful coffee mugs (they were huge), but it was most welcomed in the cold weather.

We could not enjoy the fire place. It blew out smoke and I reported it to the host,. Glenn, who did not even bother to respond. Other than that we had a great stay and made the most of the smokey place. Maybe equip the unit with gas heaters especially on the wet days

The accomodation was so beautiful. With all the amenities neeeded. They even have coffee, tea etc. Basically everything that was need was available.

Stay at Mosselbank 4

The apartment was nice and well equipped.We were able to check in early, which was a plus. It was great that we were in walking distance of the beach and restaurants.

We were only a few hours into our trip when the host shouted at us from below, saying we were making too much noise, but bare in mind we were only playing a board game which put a damper on our whole stay because we felt like we had to whisper and couldn't play the games we brought with incase we get too "noisy" , he could've come up and told us but he shouted from downstairs which was extremely unprofessional. The booking also didn't state that we would be above the hosts property, so we were missed informed we could hear the dog crying and him coming in and out as well as the conversations between him and the staff. It would be great if they supplied smaller coffee mugs. The sink in the one room was leaking everytime it was used .

It's nice and spacious. Very comfortable. The 2 bathrooms is the cherry on top! Walking distance from the beach.

The steps... But it's just because it felt like excersice... :-) other than that, there was nothing I didn't like. Oh wait, the tree that is blocking the sea view... But I know that is not something that you can change.

That extra touch was missing

The decor was charming and full of personality

Lacking in basic hospitality. No cleaners, asking for a change of towels was a big issue with the owner telling me it’s usual to change only after 3 days (I even offered to pay which he didn’t accept but why make an issue?). Some tea and coffee, but no milk so couldn’t even make a decent coffee after arriving at Paternoster at 9 pm not having eaten. We specifically looked for accommodation with a fireplace, but the fireplace didn’t work. No explanation. No shade over the deck chairs and suggest having beach umbrella and towels for guests seeing as it’s a beachside stay. No place to wash sand off feet. Also windows don’t open. You have to open door to get fresh air. No view out of windows.
