Amazing getaway near the beach

We had the best stay at Roseveldt. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and we could take our dog with us. The place is comfortable and clean and could not find fault at all. We will only be staying at Roseveldt from now on. Definitely value for money.

We had a lovely stay and so close to the beach was just exceptional.

Had no breakfast

We could not lock the garage door from the inside,so we had to go through the front sliding door to lock the garage from the outside. There was no iron or iron board......we had to buy an iron just to iron our clothes ....to look decent for our church conference. The carpets needs cleaning as well as the inside of the oven..... The toaster was not working so we couldn't have toasted sandwiches It was really a struggle to open the top large draw in kitchen ......(did not slide open easily)

Our stay was very nice and I booked the place again.

The house was all and more than i expected. The rooms were neat and comfortable. All rooms were spacious and fitted to all our needs.

The extra bed was much appreciated, but too hard for comfort. There was everything accept an iron which would have been appreciated.

Paternoster is a beautiful location, however Roseveldt did not live up to its name.

Paternoster was a beautiful location!!

We were initially drawn to Roseveldt by the appealing photos and the promise of a comfortable stay for our family. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the property did not match our expectations. The photos appeared to be misleading, and the overall condition of the property was not as anticipated. On our first night, we encountered an issue with the security alarm repeatedly going off. When we reached out to Paternoster Property Rentals, we were advised to simply turn it off, which we eventually managed to do ourselves. Additionally, the property's rules book suggested keeping the alarm on at all times and all windows locked, however there was no ventilation or fans available, making the heat during our two-night stay uncomfortable. We also found the property’s rules to be rather strict, which limited our ability to fully relax and enjoy our time there. We had hoped for a peaceful family holiday, but the restrictions made it difficult to feel at ease or entertain at the property. While Roseveldt does look beautiful in the advertising photos, unfortunately, our experience did not align with our expectations, and we feel it may not be the best fit for families seeking a more relaxed and enjoyable stay.

definitely a house we are confident in renting again.

Having wifi was very appreciated. The location was magical. Sat out on the porch during the late nights to listen to the ocean. the beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the showers were great.

the fridge didn't get cold, it just remained a bit cool. I would also suggest, considering the rate per day, that at least 1 bag of wood be added so that guests can use the fireplace. the house did not have an iron, I guess it's not a norm, but we were there for a wedding and needed an iron.

House now being build, blocking direct sea view Some maintenance needed, asked for remote batteries to be replaced, bath tub plug missing and others (basins) quite worn, door of spare room damaged. Alarm not working during load shedding More can be done to alleviate load shedding, e.g. mini ups for wifi, gas stove etc. Only 2 magneto lights supplied.

The stuff was so welcoming and helpful, even when we had our transport delayed they waited on us till we got there, even when we departure our transport got delayed they allowed us to stay in till it arrived. It was such an amazing experience

A home away from home in beautiful Paternoster

Perfect location and close to the beach. Very spacious house, comfortable beds, the best showers ever (with strong water pressure), and a built-in fireplace to keep you warm on cold nights. There is ample parking space (including a tandem garage that comfortably fits two cars). The house also has a built-in braai. All three bedrooms have ample cupboard space. The kitchen is very well equipped and forms part of the large open-plan living area, which is great.
