Bearnock Lodge

The experience of living in a huge mansion from the old times as if in a movie. Kitchen area with its seating area is best place in the house to gather as 2 families of 9 people. Interesting pictures and frames all over the places in the house. Its a very nice out of city area with greenery and cool air and fresh breath in morning. Amazing design and out of magic movies castle house. Everything seems old and ages more than our lives combined. Outdoor area as part of the mansion is huge and can be used to relax, picnic or just wonder around. The house can accomodate more than 12 to 14 persons easily.

It was quite far away from most of the things. No host came to give the introduction of the house rooms and availability of tools like barbeque and cleaning items. It was only on the last day that by mistake i found a hidden door that contains all the tools to clean or vacuum. So many spaces are not utilized like the main dining hall and bar room and main hall. Mostly used as family gathering is the kitchen. So many rooms and store rooms and out door guest room and another garage which was locked and couldn't use the entertainment facilities or park the car inside. There were other tenants living above the garage. Coming in and out of the area is time consuming. The laundry room with all machines inside to heat water and rooms is too noisy even with the door closed. Internet connection is extremely weak unless you sit near the router and you may get 2 to 3 mbps only. Streaming videos on Netflix was a horrible experience. Mobile coverage as in 4g or 5g also in that area is not good enough but better than wifi.

Location was brilliant. Surrounded by nothing but nature yet plenty of activities within short driving distance.

Spacious. Everything we needed. Comfortable. Two kitchens a bonus. Caretaker helpful.
