Christmas at Glenview Chalet park

We decided on a Christmas break (for a change) and picked Glenview based on location, scenery and the facilities. Our expectations were exceeded. We was greeted with outside Christmas lights, a tree inside plus decor. Lovely touch as we wasn't expecting that. The chalet was perfect, warm and very homely with everthing we needed. The hot tub was a huge highlight for me, my partner and the children. We certainly all made use of that. Chris is very nice, easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. The only downside was having to leave and go home after 4 nights there, we'll be staying longer next Christmas!

Perfect Chatel for the family

A perfect Chatel with everything we needed for a family break. Lovely, spacious, clean, stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay inside and out. We made use of the BBQ and we all loved the hot tub, the views during the day and the stars at night. Chris met us at the lodge, provided us with all the information we needed and suggestions for nearby villages. I wish we had booked our stay for longer. Thank you!

Spotless property with brilliant hot tub for a unique stay. Beautiful surroundings

Our arrival was smooth thanks to Chris's hosting and friendliness. He was welcoming and answered questions I had. He met us to hand over the keys and give us a tour. The facilities such as the hot tub and jacuzzi bath made our stay so special. Set in beautiful surroundings we loved the quiet location and watching the animals graze in the field the chalet overlooks. Spotlessly clean. Thank you for a great stay!

It felt a bit of a squeeze for us 5 adults at times but we were out so much and enjoyed the comfort of the chalet when home. The bedroom next to the main bathroom can hear the bathroom extractor fan if you are a really light sleeper that might bother you.

Lovely 3 bed chalet near Loch Ness

Lovely setting overlooking the fields and hills. Hot tub definitely a bonus. Clean and everything you need. Great hosts.

Mattress on double bed uncomfortable. Could feel springs. Lighting in main room very restrictive and dull. Could do with standard lamp so you dont have to put main lights on. No hooks anywhere to hang coats up etc. Not even on back of bathroom doors. Also no where to put shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in large shower. Water very slow to drain away which meant shower gel etc Could not be placed on shower floor. These are all small things and would not stop us coming back.

Glenview Chalet Park was the perfect place to end our UK trip. The chalet was spotless, modern, and immediately felt like home, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Both the bathroom and the separate second shower room were clean and stylish, and all of the kitchen appliances worked flawlessly. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the modern stoneware dishes and the beautifully set dining table on arrival. Highlights included the hot tub, the peaceful valley views with sheep grazing nearby, the free Wi-Fi, and the convenient on-site (free) parking that could easily accommodated two vehicles. Our host, Chris, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking the time to show us how everything worked and making check-in and check-out simple. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would gladly return to Glenview Chalet Park on our next visit to the Scottish Highlands.

Nothing serious on the negative side. The beds were softer than we’re used to, but everyone slept well. Our cabin had three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with twin beds (four in total), which worked perfectly for our family. Bedding and towels were provided and clean.

Gorgeous location, amazing having the hot tub. Good spacious space, well stocked with everything that we need. Chris, our host was friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. It was a very peaceful location with great views

If there's anything, the towels were a bit small for the adults. And could have done with some more shelving or hangers for the clothes

A great place to stay at arms length away from the cramped cities.

This was a great place to stay away from the larger crowds of the cities. It was very close (although you still needed a car) to access much of what the Loch Ness area offers. It was serene with relaxing views and very quiet. It was like a home for a few days while we were away, not a hotel.

Beautiful Chalet with comfy sofa and well equipped kitchen. Host was lovely. Such a shame we were there for work and didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the space. The hot tub was lovely. Very peaceful location.

Chris, the host, is a wonderful man, and went the extra mile to help, (literally).

Spacious and clean chalet, well furnished and kitted, everything was ready for us from towel to the complementary tea/coffee and biscuits. The kitchen is complete, and all feels like home. I would recommend this for a family holiday, with easy access to Loch Ness, Inverness and Fort William

A memorable stay in a lovely chalet near Beauly

Beautiful location, surrounded by fields, hills and wildlife, especially lots of sheep! The chalet itself was really nice, well kitted out with all the facilities we needed including washing machine and dishwasher. The town of Beauly is down the road where all shopping is available. The outdoor hot tub was a big bonus.

Expectations very much exceeded

We had a wonderful time at the chalet. It exceeded our expectations - after reading the opinions we knew that it would be ok, but we didn't expect this kind of welcome:) The host was very welcoming, explained everything at our arrival and gave us directions how to get to the chalet. There was everything we could hope for, even tea/coffee and toileteries at our disposal. Everything was extra clean and tidy, the linen were fresh and the chalet itself was in a very good state. Comfy mattresses, warm duvets and two pillows for everyone. Each one of us got three different sizes of towels that smelled great. There were two separate showers! We were travelling in a group of six and were expecting the last two beds to be a pullout sofa, but there were actually three separate bedrooms - one with a double bed and two with two single beds plus a living room with a huge sofa and TV. There was also a very well equipped kitchenette(all the necessary utensils and plates, bowls, glasses, mugs etc) with a microwave, an oven and big fridge(+freezer) and a big table that fit all 6 of us. We recommend this place to everyone!

I don't count it as a disadvantage, but I think that it is good to know that you should have a car at your disposal, as the distance from everything is quite significant - about 9km to the nearest shop and 20km to Inverness, but in return you get some peace and quiet of sleeping in the fields surrounded by sheep:)

Superb

The chalet was absolutely amazing. It is fully immersed in nature, sorrounded by fields where animals could roam around within the delimited areas. Chris is an amazing host; He patiently waited for us to arrive amid issues with rented electric car. The spot is only 20 minutes by car to Inverness and close to Loch Ness. Glenfinnan is just under 2 hours by car but we didn't even feel it captured by the scenery. Our chalet had 3 rooms of decent size, an open space kitchen and living room (with relaxing view on the green fields). A big BBQ was available for the guests. I'd definitely recommend the chalet.

Everything else was great, very clean, plenty of towels, toiletries. the water definitely flowed fast, the shower was great, and the jacuzzi bath was very nice. We didn't spend a lot of time in the chalet as we were visiting family.

The space between the kitchenette and sofa was a little tight. As a nicety, can do with a couple of wooden spoons (had to stir beans with a metal spoon). If you have kids with you, the TV keeps losing signal, and it's only used with a stick. Maybe bring a tablet, WiFi is fine.

Excellent, clean and comfortable

We met with Chris who kindly showed us around the cabin before leaving us to settle in. We let him know where we were going the next day and he shared with us some great places to park to view the loch. The cabin is so much nicer that the photos! We loved it! Would def come back again.

The perfect New Year at Glenview Chalet Park

Our stay at Glenview Chalet park was outstanding. The chalet was so beautiful and peaceful with every need catered for. The amenities were first class. Chris the host was just wonderful and nothing was too much trouble, infact Chris and his wife Gail very kindly stood at very short notice as witnesses at our wedding during our stay at the Lodge. We really feel we have found a little piece of heaven and will be back at every opportunity. Thank you for a wonderful time Chris...you really are the perfect host. Kind regards Gillian and James xx
