Where do we start, the house and grounds were spectacular, truly was a home from home. Lovely wildlife around us, private and peaceful The host was very welcoming and the hamper on arrival was a thoughtful surprise We all truly had everything we needed

There was only 1 thing i can think of The blinds in the bedroom could have an extra layer of curtain over it to keep the light out, but otherwise, we are all very pleased with the property and we will be visiting again Thank you again Truly Our holiday was magical

The location was very tricky to find. Recommend what three words address when trying to locate Stroma. The blinds in bedroom 2 would not close. and the blinds in bedroom 3 did not open, apart from that a fabulous place.

Lovely cosy cottage with hot tub Hot tub a short walk in garden and in enclosed garden so remember flip flops robes provided but not in children’s bedrooms No coffee pods provided and pizza oven would not light as pellets kept in outside tub and appeared damp Lovely views

Excellent birthday hot tub retreat

I booked for the hot tub and everything else was a bonus! We arrived after a long day exploring Skye and it was so lovely to arrive at this excellent property. We dumped the bags and we’re able to jump straight into the hot tub which was already on and hot. We found dressing gowns to use between the house and the hot tub. the garden was amazing for our dog who loved it! They also provided a lovely food basket of bread, local eggs, Scottish bacon, butter, coffee and milk. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and great pressure. The WIFI was great, TV had streaming apps. It was only a 20 minute drive to Inverness town. 15 to the local Co-op.

Nicely furnished and pleasant decor. Beautiful gardens and quiet setting. Good sized bedrooms. Excellent showers. Plenty of pots and pans, even weighing scales to make pizza dough. Great for family gathering.

Had to go and buy kitchen cloths and washing up + washing liquid, cold tap too explosive. Dining room lights far too bright for dinner time. Pizza oven fuel wet so couldn't use. Dirty oven trays and Bbq tools. Drains flooded at the back.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and cosy. The location was great too, not too far from Inverness but felt very tucked away and secluded. We loved it!

not the hottest or easiest to keep in fire but that May have been not enough draw because of the direction of the wind. it didn’t really matter as the heating worked well.

just a few minor things ; - taps everywhere need repair or replacement - we lost our battle, after two hours , to get the pizza oven to cooking temperature. Even You Tube videos reported that wood pellet pizza ovens are temperamental

Beautiful home, very spacious, modern and nicely decorated. Many little details considered for guests, including a well stocked kitchen, which we got good use out of. Welcome basket was a lovely surprise. Host communication was great, we had no problem finding property and plenty parking. Hot tub in a secret garden is a big bonus!

Hot tub, overall cleanliness, welcome basket, quality of the bedding, everything we needed was present. Appreciated the very quick response regarding the boiler problem too. Felt like we were in safe hands and really couldn't have asked for better!

Very (very) minor, but we couldn't find any kindling for the log burner. It might have been us not looking hard enough, but it wasn't a problem as heating got fixed promptly.

Very relaxing stay

This property was stunning! The house and the location were gorgeous. Nice and peaceful. House very very clean and comfortable. The grounds around the house are huge and very well kept. Beautiful for relaxing outside. Hot tub was a great hit too! The house is in a remote location, which was the appeal for us, and we managed to find it easily with the satnav but could be difficult to find without one. The hosts kept us up to date with useful info before our stay too which was great.

A truly comfortable stay in a beautiful part of Scotland.

This house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was warm and very comfortable, with a lovely outdoor space. A welcome pack was provided with fresh local products and we enjoyed cooking up a good breakfast & evening meal which we all enjoyed around the large dining table. The living-room seated us all comfortably and the beds and bedding are of very good quality. The hot tub was a real plus - high speck in lovely surroundings. We all really enjoyed our stay here and would like to thank our host for providing such a lovely place to stay : )

A fantastic short break in a stunning location, with the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation.

The property was modern and comfortable with a country charm. We loved the decor and we immediately felt at home as we walked through the door. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and there was plenty of space. The children loved the hot tub and we also welcomed the use of the log burning stove, particularly as on our arrival there was snow! Would love to return!

Some of the crockery and cutlery needed another clean before use.

A complete break from everything, so peaceful with beautiful scenery.

spacious living areas, large gardens (with deer in the field next to it!), hot tub, very comfortable beds, log burner, lots of little extras for convenience. Overall, very peaceful and relaxing.

The dinner plates didn’t fit in the dishwasher 😂 at least we couldn’t figure out how to adjust the rack!

The Best Cottage Ever

Everything, literally, everything. This place is amazing, worth every penny. Hot tub is fab, gardens are amazing. Beds are super comfy and massive! Nice little welcome pack for our few nights there. House is immaculate and gorgeous in every room. Fire place in the living room is spot on too. Absolutely cannot fault the place or the communication from the owner. Our group was 2 adults, an 8 year old girl and a pooch. All had the best time. If you're wondering if it's as good as it looks - it's so much better! Didn't want to leave and aiming to return at some point. An easy 10/10 from us all 😁
