We have just had the most amazing weekend with a group of 18 friends and family at this stunning property. The house interior is actually more impressive, quirky and beautiful than the photographs suggest. The bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms luxurious with great water pressure and immediate hot water. The cabin was hugely appreciated by teenage children and all ages had great fun in the grounds and games room. There is a separately let apartment above the garage which didn’t cause us any concern but was not clear from the listing. The patio area outside the side door is a little small for the size of the house (and quite slippy due to wet weather and leaf accumulation), and the beautiful upper terraces are up a path and stairs so we didn’t carry glasses or food up. The lower garden is magical for hide and seek and our Labrador appeared to be very at home in the garden and walking locally. Most of our party grew up in the Highlands so knew a bit of the local area but this is a real hidden gem and we are all trying to find an excuse to visit again!

Bearnock Lodge was a perfect stay for our large family. We enjoyed the spacious yet comfortable rooms, the ability to host a large group with lovely kitchens and amazing dining room. From chess and ping pong to chatting in front of the fire, we will fondly remember this absolutely family friendly home. When asked what was their favorite memory of our vacation to Scotland, one grandson said, “Bearnock Lodge!”
