Gorgeous location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms and common areas, easy communication with the property.
I have nothing directly negative to say, but there is always room for improvement on the small things:
- light settings and general ambience in the restaurant at night. Try a more dim light setting, music and candles for a more elegant vibe. Downlights only felt cold and made for unflattering lighting.
- staff could have been more attentive, offering drinks upon arrival and when waiting for our table would have been nice instead of us having to ask for it.

Absolutely everything..professional and such a friendly welcome..a home from with ..really lovely place...thank you Logan for making our meal wonderful..we had such a 😃.....and James and John the two highlands cows..adorable....and thanks for letting us give them food ...dream come true

Location was lovely. Outdoor terrace was welcomed on a sunny afternoon.
Bit bijou in terms of dining experience, odd corralling of guests pre dinner into a small drawing room that didn’t really suit number of people vs. chairs. Odd to pre-order food beforehand, would have much preferred to be seated at table. Struggled with menu, thought it wasn’t anything special or something worth the price charged - presentation of starter and dessert was far from expected , especially with a chip in one of the bowls.
