If you truly want to get away from it all with family and friends, then this is the property for you. Forest Lodge sits at the heart of Glen Tilt, eight miles along a private track from Blair Atholl (accessible easily by car if driven with care). A traditional sporting lodge and retaining many of its original features this sprawling and very comfortable house sleeps up to eighteen people and has plenty of living space to spead out along with a spacious drawing room with a large bay window facing south down the glen and an open fire, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a second sitting room. Located on the banks of the River Tilt and surrounded by hills, Forest Lodge is perfect for a week’s escape and is an ideal base for fishing, walking, cycling, mountaineering or a special family celebration. Salmon fishing on Beat 4 of River Tilt, which flows by the lodge, is exclusively available to lodge guests by separate arrangement.
