All the comforts of home in a magical location

Our cabin was perfect for our 2 night stay. It was great to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The location is magical and I loved walking along the water's edge. I definitely recommend this property for families and larger groups traveling together.

Amazing place highly recommended!

It was fantastic! Who ever did decoration did amazing job absolutely stunning! We even looked through the books and extended our stay for one night which was greatly appreciated! We stayed in two bedrooms Squirrel lodge.

We had only only one single small issue that logs were maybe wet or else so to start the fireplace took a while and we had to repeat it several times. Suggestion is to have a startup tablets rather than paper or to be in addition to.

Very nice place, kept well, location is great,

Everything was good, but for improvement I would say: 1. Need insect screens on the windows 2. Garbage removal twice a week at least or a bigger general waste bin 3. For a stay longer than 4 days, there should be 2 sets of towels and bed sheets 4. Rooms should have fans especially in the summer

We didn’t have a car, and taxis became expensive and were not always reliable.

Peaceful and tranquil. Beautiful view of the river, very nice house.

We went for a lovely walk right from the property along the river that was beautiful and we didn’t even know was there but discovered.

The washing machine was a bit of a nightmare and the dryer didn’t really work at all. It might have been nice to be met by a host rather than self entry in order to get acquainted with the appliances and the house.

Lovely lodge in fabulous location.

Beautiful location with gorgeous river views. Clean, comfortable and cosy lodge. Although cosy it was by no means small. It was very spacious. Very quiet and peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything we needed. Beds very comfy. Lots of hot water. Lovely big wood burner with plenty of logs and kindling supplied. Check in was with key code and all no problem.

I hadn’t realised another property directly adjoined it. Not an issue but it meant that while seated on the decking you were right beside and could see your neighbour as the fence between was low. This is a personal preference and wouldn’t stop me staying again.

Wonderful stay at Ness Castle Lodges

We liked the location it was excellent and idyllic. Just as described, and our lodge was clean and welcoming. It had beautiful walkways with great views. We also met really lovely people in the town

Our taxi had a bit of trouble locating us and trouble with the exit gate. I had sent a message to Laura but received no response.
