Great place right in the middle of everything you want and need! Shops, bars, resturants, lakeside etc right on the doorstep. Hottub was amazing too,. Beautifully charming property, which was very well equipped.

Very helpful host offering lots of information about the local amenities and good contact throughout
No mention of split level. Kitchen ground floor and remainder (bedroom, living area and bathroom) downstairs with steep stairs. My mother who has mobility issues struggled to move freely throughout the property and had to stay downstairs whilst my father went up and down to the kitchen. This needs to be made more obvious in the description. Also decor a bit outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade.

The property was literally 20 metres from the centre of Bowness. If you wanted somewhere central, this is perfect.
Parking is always a problem in tourist hot spots, Bowness is particularly popular. It did mean that parking was a 7 minute walk away, which was okay.

Location was great and everything in the property clean and working well. Walk in shower was a favourite of my wife and we were that busy in the Lakes that we only got to jump in the hot tub on the last night!!
Very minor issues, but we were woken a couple of times at 8am by the business owner above. Not the fault of the apartment owner, but just annoying.
We had to use the gate for access as we have a less abled dog, it was a little overgrown so was not easy to push the gate open/close it and could have done with some lighting when dark to locate the gate.

We stayed at the apartment from Thursday - Saturday. Check in was easy with a digital lock to enter the property. There are double yellow lines outside the apartment but it was easy enough to find space to pull over the empty the car and collect the parking pass before then parking at the car park on Rayrigg Road as suggested by the host and walking back to the apartment which was again only a couple of minutes walk away. Upon arrival the apartment was so much more than we hoped for. The location was great and very central, there is a Tesco a couple of minutes walk away. The pictures do not do the apartment justice at all, the kitchen is upstairs and was clean and had everything needed for the stay. Downstairs was the bedroom, bathroom and living room which then has a door leading to the courtyard where the hot tub is. There was plenty of towels and linen provided for our stay. The decor throughout was to a high standard. We went on one of the walks suggested by the host to Orrest Head where the starting point was around a 30 minute walk from the premises and in the evening we visited the local tapas restaurant for dinner which was great and would highly recommend. This was our first trip to Bowness on Windermere however it will not be our last and we would definitely stay here again.

What a gem of a place we have found, absolutely made up to have found this place, always a bit dubious when reviews are so good, but they are warranted here. Couldn't fault anything. The kitchen is clean and everything you need if you want to do some cooking, which we did. The living room is very comfortable as is the bedroom, the bed was especially comfy, had 3 nights of great sleep. The bathroom is fabulous too, I think I'm right when I say there was underfloor heating in there, the shower is powerful enough and very roomy. The Hot Tub, was the icing on the cake, absolutely wonderful. If you're thinking of booking, do it, you won't be disappointed. You also get a parking permit, which is a massive help. Thanks Simon, we'll be back!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Court Yard. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was immaculate when we arrived. Great location for exploring the village, plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Simon checked in occasionally to make sure everything was alright. We would definitely stay again - a hidden gem!!
The only negatives we had with the apartment were that the bathroom door didn't properly close and that the hot tub seemed to be a bit grimy around the water's edge so we ended up not using. Not a major issue for us as we were more interested in getting out and about to explore the village but for some it might be.

We stayed at the courtyard for two nights and it is in a perfect location, walking distance to everything and was decorated beautifully !
Unfortunately when we came to use the hot tub after a cold wet walk it had no power and was freezing cold. We messaged the host who replied asking us to check the fuse board that nothing had tripped, which it hadn't. We hoped they would send a engineer to fix it asap but no one came during our midweek stay. We found this to be disappointing as the main reason we booked this place and paid significantly more than other properties in the area was for the hot tub. The host offered a 20% refund which we received after 3 weeks.

Very central to everything. Could walk to the lakeside and to restaurants in 2 minutes. Cosy sitting room and the hot tub was a nice touch, went in both afternoons after a walk and lunch. Good powerful shower too.
The host was very helpful and replied quickly to messages.
Nothing really, maybe coat hooks in kitchen would be handy then you don't have to carry damp jackets downstairs or hang them on the backs of chairs.

There was so much to like about the stay. Loved the location. So close to all shops, restaurants and the lake. The stay was cosy and relaxing. The fine details and decorations were perfect. The hot tub was a great relaxation after a day walking. Would certainly recommend to all.
Walls are a little thin, could hear people walking around upstairs but this didn’t effect our stay. Just was an early alarm clock.

Ideally situated. Quiet, clean and ousehold items all there. The parking permit was a pleasant surprise as I had anticipated having to pay for parking and find a suitable parking location for 3 nights. One suggestion would be to provide postcodes for all carparks in the surrounding areas that accept the parking permit - then you don't have to google or confirm if the carpark you have chosen accepts the permit
Te outside drain in the rear courtyard seemed to struggle with water intake - when the upstairs properties emptied water, the drain instantly overflowed into the courtyard seating area which was a bit inconvenient if you were sitting outside
